hi! hello! howdy!! i'm Erika. :) my score on here may be low due to mostly sitting for friends + family + being newer to Denver. hoping to expand my network + get this score up! life-long animal lover who grew up with dogs (one cat in younger years). i always keep a clean and safe home. i am happy to keep Your pets comfortable + in their regular routine. the best compliment, in my opinion, is trust and i have been told by multiple friends that they trust me *the most* with their furry friends. hoping to meet you and yours soon! :) About this sitter: interior designer by trade, animal lover and confidant by nature. i'm happy to keep your dog(s) company while you're away! my main goal is keeping your pup(s) healthy, exercised and cozy. we will keep to the rules of your home. also, i love nature, hiking, running, cycling and anything outdoors. there isn't anything better than exploring the fresh air with a furry buddy! i was dog sitting on an average of twice a month in Chicago + Austin for friends with the highest recommendation to their friends as well. Why I love dog sitting: always and forever dog lover! i grew up with dogs and trained my parents' current dog who has never had an accident in their house! Meet my pets: none in my home, but many neighbor cats + dogs. My experience administering medication: yes, total comfort and experience.

I cannot say enough about the attentive care and love Erika provides! I am a dog sitter myself, and a repeat client contacted me with a request that I watch her lab Scooby over an elevent day including Memorial Day weekend. I had already plans to be away over the weekend, and I needed someone that I could trust with my client's pup as well as my own pup Raha. Erika went above and beyond, taking the pups on long hikes each day (totaling 18 miles!) and playing with them between excursions. She has a gentle way about her that draws dogs to her and a confidence that assures you that your trust is well placed. She took impeccable care of both my house and the doggos, and was amazing at communicating and sharing photos throughout. Highly recommended!
Erika's stay with my dogs went well. They remembered her from the meet-and-greet and became fast friends. She adeptly handled both my high-anxiety dog and my deaf dog, and Erika didn't show any signs of intimidation or nervousness that people often experience when dealing with my pit bulls. I was totally comfy leaving Erika at my home with my dogs, and I hope she's available for our next trip.
Erika's place is awesome - warm, inviting and the perfect size because she can see most everything from her home office. Angus connected with her right away and I could tell he'd be in good hands. Although he was happy to see me when I returned after the weekend - it seemed that he was very comfortable with Erika. I will definitely use Erika again and refer her to my friends. Thanks!
Let me just say Erika is the BEST dog sitter in the world. I know - bold statement.... but true! Erika helped take care of Buster (adorable shit tuz!) often over the course of several years. I tended to be over protective and particular with my dog and his care and she was so careful and good with him. She loved him and cared for him and followed all of my directions to the T. Buster had some medical needs and she seamlessly jumped in and handled all of his special needs and medications even when it was complicated and hard. She is dependable and very trustworthy. She really loves all dogs and always has. Can't recommend her highly enough!

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks around the calmer streets of the east side up to town lake depending on your dog's usual walk length. Your dog's sleeping arrangement your dog will sleep wherever it is most comfortable. i don't personally have any furniture restrictions, but will keep to whatever rules you keep in your own home. Time I'll spend with your dog as much time as possible. i work from home and will occasionally go out for a coffee or lunch. i love an excuse to stay in for a night of quality hang time with furry friends.
