• Stay at home couple with flexible schedule to meet your dog’s needs • We don’t have our own dog, so your dog will have our full attention • Experience with small breeds including older dogs requiring special care My wife and I have enjoyed the love and companionship of dogs for most of our lives. Together we have over 40 years of experience with a diverse selection of breeds such as the bichon frise, Border terrier, dachshund, English springer spaniel, Maltese, poodle, Shetland sheepdog, Shih Tzu, Yorkshire terrier and many others. Also, we have experience with older dogs and administering medication. Denise and I both work from home so our daily schedules are very flexible. We are able to spend time throughout the day to take care of your dog’s needs. In a typical day we do a morning walk, afternoon walk and evening/night walk with additional potty breaks in-between as needed. We adjust walking minutes and potty breaks per individual dog’s needs and instructions. We keep your dog to their familiar daily routines as much as possible. We have a modest sized apartment that is perfect for small dogs. There is a dog size restriction of 25 pounds or smaller. Denise and I don’t have a dog of our own, so you don’t have to worry about incompatible personalities. Our apartment complex is very dog friendly, providing us with lots of walking paths and open spaces to explore (I’ve uploaded a few pictures highlighting the walking paths and yards). Why I love dog sitting My wife and I grew up enjoying the companionship of dogs. I have raised an English Springer Spaniel, Golden Retriever, Australian Shepherd and a Sheltie. My wife grew up with Dachshunds. Currently, we do not have a dog and we miss them terribly. We thought offering our time as dog sitters would be a great way to enjoy their companionship again. About my yard We have a rather large patio for an apartment, but we would not be comfortable letting a dog loose without supervision and a leash. However, we have many walking paths and love to take dogs on walks. My experience administering medication Yes, we have experience and are comfortable with administering medication.

Another stress free time away!
Eric and Denise were wonderful! They asked a lot of questions about our dogs regarding the dogs' likes, dislikes and habits so we knew our dogs were in good hands. We looked forward to the daily pictures and updates as to how the dogs were doing.
I just can't say, "thank you" enough to Denise and Eric. It is so wonderful to be able to go away and know that my 2 fur babies are being taken care of and watched closely. Every time I leave Cricket and Sebastian in their care, I appreciate them more. Thank you, thank you, thank you :-)

However, we have noticed that dogs usually find their own preferred place to sleep. Ultimately, it is up to the dog where they want to sleep. Time I'll spend with your dog My wife and I both work from home, so your dog will not lack for companionship. We are available for playtime and walks throughout the day and evening.
