Pet care experience
I have had only wonderful experiences with Rover and love to care for animals. I have been an intern at a veterinary practice, volunteer for a local rescue organization, and have owned and fostered puppies and dogs. I love meeting new dogs and making our time fun, active, and special for them. I work for an animal welfare organization, and would love a dog fix in the afternoons, evenings, or weekends! I live near a dog park, and have easy access to walking trails. I am active and would love to run, walk, and entertain your best canine family member while you are working hard to provide for them or away from your home. I am available to house and dog sit within 5 miles of West Yarmouth, MA. I am open to all kinds of dog breeds, and am happy to follow special instructions to make sure I give your dog the right care.

Emma took care of my 11 yr old cat Soho (daily drop-in visits) and did an awesome job! I contacted her on short notice and she was quick to respond and very accommodating with my schedule. Soho took to her immediately when they met! (always a good sign) Emma was great about sending daily updates and responding to my messages while I was away. I would like to know their normal routine and daily structure. I would like to mimic the timing and delivery of those routines as much as possible. I would love to know their favorite activities, situations, and what excites and soothes them. I have the most experience with medium/large breeds, but am open to all.
A typical day
I'm experienced providing games and puzzles for higher energy dogs, and comfortable/cozy situations for all of my clients. I like to assess what an individual dog's needs are and go from there! I love to go on nature walks, go for swims (or fill up the kiddie pool in the back yard), or provide dogs with positive reinforcement training sessions!

Availability
I'm currently working part-time, so I have time to walk or welcome your pup before 8:00am and after 2pm. I'm available most weekends. My resident dog, Fred, gets along with all dogs - he would love to play/walk with your pup. As I am an experienced rescue foster, I also understand each dog has their own unique preferences when it comes to dogs and humans. I will make sure your dog has the experience and attention that makes them the most comfortable.
