May I hang out with your dog?
Pet care experience
We live in a quiet neighborhood with many nature trails. My dog and I typically walk 3 miles a day around Steilacoom and would love to have your dog join us. We are also just a few miles from the best dog park (Fort Steilacoom Dog Park), if you’re comfortable with us taking your dog there
Reviews
Emily was an amazing host for our Golden Retriever.
I had to leave my dog for over two weeks as we were going overseas. Emily took excellent care of him. He loved her dog so it was great that he got time to spend with another dog. Emily took him on many walks and sent many pictures. I would book with her again.
Emily was awesome - she took in our 9-week-old puppy when I had to unavoidable travel. It killed me to leave the pup, but she was awesome at sending photos to warm my heart. The puppy seemed to have a great time and came back exhausted from playtime with her dog Eleanor. A tired dog is a good dog. Thanks, Emily. We will be calling again!!
Emily was incredible! She sent us messages and pictures two or three times a day.We highly recommend her services to any one!! John & Young Weidenfeller. Tacoma, WA

Information Emily W. would like to know about your pet
To ensure the safety of all dogs, I require that our dogs meet before boarding. We’ve never had a bad meeting, but I feel this is a necessary precaution. Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or if you have any behavioral concerns.

Availability
Our property has ~1/3 acre fully enclosed with a 6’ tall cedar fence. There’s a ton of room for dogs to play fetch or run through the grass, trees, and bushes. Regardless of it being fully enclosed, your dog will never be outside unsupervised. We have one dog, Eleanor (Elle). Elle is a ~10 year old German Shorthaired Pointer and is a front runner for sweetest dog in the world. She LOVES having a friend to chase her around the yard and play fetch with (she’ll always let her friend get the ball). Unfortunately, we’ve had an older dog with substantial health issues. Fortunately, this means that we’re both well versed in administering eye drops, ear drops, and oral medication. As long as you leave clear dosage instructions we will ensure that all treatments are continued while your loved one is in our care.
