Hi! I'm Emily and I'm a dogmom to Rudi, a 7 year old lab/collie/staffordshire mix rescue. I am a healthcare professional and in my free time I'd like to take care of your pets for you! I recently dogsat for a family friend who owns 5 dogs and 2 cats over a weekend. One dog is on oral medication for seizures and another dog is a high-energy pit mix who needs daily 3 mile+ walks. I had 5 shadows that weekend and enjoyed every minute of it. I am willing to accommodate all breeds of dogs and will tailor my attention to your dogs needs, from lots of cuddles on the couch to long walks or runs. Emily stayed with our dog Hogan at our home for a week. Hogan was very comfortable with her, and we were able to relax on our vacation knowing he was being well-looked after. She sent several photos each day of Hogan during walks and relaxing around the house, which was much appreciated. We've already booked Emily for our next vacation! We're sure that Hogan will enjoy another staycation with Emily!
Emily was great! Our dogs were in great hands. It was so nice to not have to worry about anything while we were gone. There was great communication throughout the weekend!

A typical day
A typical day depends on the area and the dog. If there’s certain parks or trails nearby I can go where your dog likes to go. I bring treats and water along as well. If your dog prefers staying around your neighborhood or in your yard we can get some nice walks and playtime in as well.

Availability
For housesitting, please note that I have a full time job during the day working 8 hour shifts. If your dogs need more frequent potty breaks during the day, it may not be a good fit. Otherwise I always let the dog out for potty breaks before leaving for work and come back right after work as well. I always make sure to give them enough attention and activity when I get home from work.
