Pet care experience
I’ve always had a variety of dogs. Currently we have a long-haired dachshund named Roger and a mysterious mutt named Ed. Roger loves new friends and Ed is happy to sleep next to them. We adopted them as senior dogs. We have a fenced yard and six chickens.

Elizabeth and Phillip were very accommodating and took in my dad’s pup over an hour early. They kept my 80 year old Dads dog for the Kentucky Derby, and their home was very conveniently located near Churchill Downs. I definitely would recommend them for your pet sitting needs.
Elizabeth and Phillip have watched Sadie twice now. We can tell how much she likes going there when we drop her off and how much she sleeps when she comes home! Highly recommend
Ellie enjoyed her stay for the second time! We'll definitely use Elizabeth and Phillip again.

We have a good sized fenced yard for play time, and we live a couple blocks from a dog park so there are plenty of opportunities for outside time. We like to take the dogs on several walks a day. If you have a big dog who likes to run, we can go for runs too. We also have two small-dog crates if your dog likes crate time.

Let me know if your dog would attack chickens because we have free range chickens in the yard. If so we can keep the chickens up for part of the morning and then have extra walks instead of yard time once the chickens are out.
A typical day
We will go on multiple walks a day and also play in the yard. Your dog can snuggle with our dogs, or we have gates to separate them if they don’t get along.

My husband Phillip and I look forward to taking care of your dogs. He works from home several days a week so will be available for frequent walks, and if he has to go into the office, I will come home at lunch for a walk.
