Pet care experience
I've had dogs & cats in my life since I was 8 years old. Each one of my extended family members that lived around town owned dogs. I quickly bonded with them and became a part-time caretaker. Later in my life I adopted a dog with a lot of neurotic behaviors and cared for him for his entire life. I learned the level of patience, care, and flexibility that's needed to attend to the needs of different types of dogs in my life. Now I'm taking that experience to take care of those dogs & cats who need a friend and caretaker.

While caring for your pets I will do everything I can to be knowledgeable and respectful for your and your pets boundaries and needs. Does your furry friend like a certain path? Tell me about it! I'll listen judgement free to any sort of needs you both might have. I'll take as many pictures through out the visit or walk as you'd like so you feel secure and safe for your pet. I will also keep the line of communication open so you know exactly what's happening with your home or pet while your away from them. While my home may not be available for pets to stay in regularly I do have the option for them to stop in just in case.

To best take care of your pets I would need to know what their typical day or walk looks like. Where do you usually go? How do you reward good behavior? How is the dog fed? I'll be sure to ask these questions when we communicate and or meet so we can make the best experience for your pet.
A typical day
I love to see pets in their happiest spaces, making a special day for them when their owner is away. We could go to the "Roverwest" dog park, I have some brain teasers I could bring along to the visit, go to their favorite spot, or just be in the same space and give plenty of pets!

Availability
I'm currently working from home as an educator with a very flexible schedule for drop ins and walks. At times I have classes but they're scheduled ahead of time so I shouldn't have any issues with keeping my schedule communicated. I would be available any time before 8:00AM CST and after 4:30 CST on weekdays and all day on weekends.
