I grew up with dogs. However, it wasn't until I was an adult and got my own dog that my love of them really grew. Ever since then, I have had multiple dogs at one time. I currently have 5 of my own dogs. I also volunteer with a local Columbus rescue and have fostered many, many dogs. I have trained puppies, worked with nervous/anxious/fearful/aggressive dogs, fostered/sat for dogs of all sizes, administered meds to dogs/cats, walked dogs of all sizes/personality types, etc. I have never met a dog that I haven't liked and hasn't liked me. I am a teacher, so I do work full-time during the school year: 6-7 hours alone. However, I do have all weekends off, winter breaks, spring breaks, and summers off. I have the availability to do evening walks/bathroom breaks, any times over the weekends and my breaks. I am flexible with times and schedule. My home is composed of myself, husband, son, 5 dogs, and 2 cats. I have a large fenced in yard for the dogs to run around in. Due to fostering for a local rescue, my dogs are very accepting of a new dog into their home. They enjoy having a new playmate, even for a little while.
