Pet care experience
I have just a little under 15 years of experience caring for animals from all WALKS of life :).. I started my journey when I was a sophomore in High school by attending BOCES for small animal care. The program educated me on how to properly handle and care for animals such as dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, reptiles, fish and other house hold pets. The course also introduced me to the anatomy of each animal of study, their behaviors. From there, I went on to study medicine during my senior year as I took Veterinary courses. during that same year, I started working professionally with animals as a care taker in a work place setting. through the years I began to board other peoples pets in my home full time. as time went on, I became a mother and currently a stay at home mom to my daughter and 5 dogs. Yes, I am a big time animal lover if you could not tell :). I had to take a step back from the boarding due to my dogs being overwhelmed, but I continue to go after my passion and earn a little extra.

I absolutely loved Dorothy. She was amazing with not only my dog but her own several plus other boarders. She was in touch with me all day and night with pictures and videos as well as constant updates on how my dog was doing. I know my dog Snuggles was in great hands. I also know he had a great time. I would recommend Dorothy to everyone and anyone with a dog. If you don't use her you made the wrong choice. She is wonderful. Can't wait to go away again
A great place for a dog to stay. It was like a doggie overnight camp. Everything there is to cater to ur pup. Dorothy loves her charges and treats them like her own. I was playing one of the many videos to some family members and when jameson heard her voice he went running around the house to find her. A definite call back.
Our pup Riley recent spent a night with Dorothy and her puppy family. We only have positive things to say!. We were able to meet with Dorothy before the actual stay and Riley was able to get accustomed to both the home and the other pups at her home. This was great and so important to me. I had never left Riley with someone other than family and we all treat her as family. I was very nervous and anxious to leave her. I can tell you that she had a blast! Dorothy sent us videos and pictures of her stay and gave us regular updates on how she was doing. It was very comforting to know that she was with someone who loves dogs as much as we do. She even ate her food - which is something she would not normally do when at a visitors home. After we took her home - she was so tired from all her playing that she slept all day for us! Double Bonus!! We loved our experience so much that I am already planning Riley's next stay with Dorothy. We feel so lucky to have found her. Thanks again!!
I am really glad my husband found Dorothy in rover. She gave the best love and care to my dog and she was so tired from all the playtime that when she came home she slept all day! I met Dorothy for a meet and greet and met all her dogs too, it was too cute!!! Every one of her dogs are super friendly and I couldn't believe how she does it. Dorothy sent photos and videos to my phone and I showed everyone how chloe was doing. My kids loved all the photos! So happy to write this review for her, I will be going away in august and I can actually relax knowing my girl is in good hands!

A typical day
The wonderful thing about picking me as your dog- walker/ Visitor is that your pup will get 2 for the price of one... my 3 year old daughter is just like me when it comes to animals, she wouldn't hurt a fly. we have had many great experiences taking our pups for long walks to nowhere, visiting friends at the dog park and playing fetch with a good ol' fashioned belly rub to let them know we care!
