Why I love dog sitting I grew up loving dogs! In high school we had a lightning fast mini-dachshund that chased us around our neighborhood, joined us for outdoor Montana adventures, and loved our whole family. I've had many roommates with dogs over the years, including a red heeler/pointer mix who I believe was my canine soulmate. My girlfriend and I would love to get a heeler mix in the next couple years when life settles down! I tailor my dog walks and stays to your needs, I have many clients that want me to take epic adventures with their dogs, and I have some that would prefer to just walk them around the block. I truly love being with dogs, and if it weren't for my roommate being so allergic, I'd have one of my own!

Derek was a great pet/house sitter. My trip was relatively short, but Derek was quick to respond to my messages and came home to a house and dog that was just as I had left them. Will definitely use again.
Loved Derek! Interviewed him a while back and my kids loved him. Ended up needing a petsitter for an emergency trip and he was able to make it work with a days notice! That flexibility and energy is something I definitely want for a petsitter. Plus, leaving 4 pages of notes didn't even phase him. I received regular updates and it's clear that he and my kiddos bonded at least a little! My 8yo dog (and 80lbs) can be a bit skeptical but she seemed to be totally comfortable with him and he with her. My cat is a pistol and he was spoiled rotten by Derek! The photos were absolutely adorable. Even my fish seem happy and energetic -- definitely no dead fish or algae buildup which has happened with other petsitters. Derek even left the house as good as I left it - he stripped the bed AND vacuumed! Very appreciative and impressed :D Definitely will be using Derek again. Thanks!!!!!!
Derek was wonderful! He took care of our dogs and handled things around our house for 11 days while we were on vacation. He checked in with us daily and let us know how things were going- I really appreciated that. I felt I did not have to worry about our dogs with Derek at our home. He was able to be on hand to feed and give insulin shots to our diabetic dog two times a day. Our 5 dogs range in age from 13 years to 7 months, Derek was able to figure out the dynamics of our pack and take care of their individual needs as well. All of our dogs were happy and healthy when we returned. Thank you Derek! We hope we will see you again in the future.
