I am a lifelong animal lover who has worked with many different breeds, whether it was volunteering to care for malti-poms, working as a foster for dachshunds, or running a small day care with a playful akita and a wolfdog. I would describe my method of approaching animals as one of getting on their level and trying to observe and understand animals without resorting to an aggressive "alpha mentality", which is against the spiritual tradition I practiced as a monk. I am also a massage therapist who has a budding interest in canine massage and physiology. I love animals and hope to work with them part-time. I am also a student at veterinarian Dr. Ian Dunbar's online academy to further my experience. At present, the fur-crew includes one dachshund mix, a husky mix, a British-shorthair cat, and a fuzzy ferret. I'm always looking to meet new friends, on two legs and four!
