Dogs are such an important part of my life that over the last 20 years I've always had at least one dog. Positive training is key to my life with dogs. Some of the activities I've done in those years are: Bouvier Rescue, mixed breed rescue, fostered dogs, trained dogs professionally, competed in AKC obedience, am a certified AKC Canine Good citizen and S.T.A.R Puppy evaluate, board and train, attended classes and seminars on dog training methods, house trained numerous puppies, cared for medical and physical needs of senior dogs and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things! When caring for other people's dogs safety is uppermost in my mind. After safety comes the individual dogs needs. I'm available for boarding, board and train, check-ins during the day, and dog walks. If you're interested in board and train let me know what issue you want to address. Some common issues to address are: puppies- house training, sleeping thru the night and biting, adult dogs - jumping up, sit, stay, off... If you have a dog with special needs either medical, physical or behavioral please ask! I can accommodate most. While dogs are my first love, I have experience with all types of pets and have worked extensively with exotic birds (parrots, macaws and cockatoos) and house rabbits. When caring for other people's dogs safety is uppermost in my mind. After safety comes the dogs needs. Each dog is an individual and presents new learning opportunities - for the dog and me! I'm available for dog sitting in your home - either overnight or check-ins during the day, dog walks, daycare and boarding. Difficult dogs welcome!!
