I am conveniently located near Midway Airport, less than 10 minutes away by car. I loved taking care of my grand-puppy William for almost 3 years, and miss him so much since he moved (with my son & daughter-in-law) to Miami in September 2015. I would love to care for your dog while you are on vacation! It is important for me that we have a Meet & Greet, so I can give your dog the best care possible. I live in the 1st floor apartment of a 3-unit building that I own. Everything is on one level, so it is easy even for senior pets. I will walk your dog in the morning, afternoon, and once more before we go to sleep. Your dog will be fed according to their home schedule and will be given treats as permitted by their owner. If your dog loves attention, that is not a problem! I have cared for puppies up to senior dogs.

I always require a Meet & Greet before I accept a new dog. I need to know any restrictions their owner has for them, as well as any medical or feeding restrictions. I always take them for a short walk during the Meet & Greet so I can be prepared for how they behave on a walk. I haven't had to turn down any dogs that I had a Meet & Greet with, but there are owners who would not come for a Meet & Greet, so I did not agree to watch their dog. This is all for the safety of your dog.
A typical day
If your dog enjoys going on walks, I am happy to take them on walks throughout the neighborhood. There is also a nice park about 3 blocks away if they enjoy that. I let them stop and sniff as much as they want, but do my best to keep up with them when they want to run around (on their leash). And when we are at my home, I play with them with any toys they bring and I give them as much cuddle time as they want.

I'm currently retired, but will start a new career as a Tour Director. On the days that I am working, I will mark my calendar as unavailable so that when your pet is with me, they will have all the attention that they need.
