Experienced dog owner in a rural dog friendly area
Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs my whole adult life. I am pretty much dog obsessed, I have an old man Yorkshire terrier. Who is now 16, he was a rescue after my mother passed 14 years ago, a demanding diva of a dog, but who is so loved and cared for. I’m great with senior dogs, I have a lot of experience in dispensing tablets.medication etc. I can host 2 dogs max at a time. And I treat all dogs like family, and I love all animals, we are great at recall training and of course we are seeing a lot of unsocialised dogs at the moment due to covid, I’m quite well experienced in this too. Following covid, I am working from home now every day, I am self employed and find myself missing the larger walks and play time now my old man yorkie is 16, I live with my fiancé (he’s as dog obsessed as me) and we are at home every day, I care for your dog In my own space. We have a home with lots of space, a fenced front garden and a fenced courtyard out the back. We live near many farms. Many large field walks too. We have toys, and expect you to have the same list of quirks that my own dog has We can take your dog, but ask for as much info as possible to make sure they are as comfortable as possible, sadly we do not not take puppies who are not house trained. We will follow your instructions, and like my own old man doggo. Your dog will have the run of the house, sofa etc, and really is treated like one of the Family We have provisions in place for the hot weather / later and earlier walks, cooling mats galore and shaded areas for those pups who still like to feel the heat. We are very responsible stand in carers for your dog I work, but now from home, so I’m around most of the day, your furry friend will be looked after like my own, so sorry free Oh and we send you lots and lots of pictures ;) I have a home with both a front and back yard, fenced off and a patio that allows freely coming and going while I am supervising

Pippin was so pleased to see Deb & Craig when we dropped him off, and that is always a good thing to see. We recieved a number of photos & videos over the weekend and he was enjoying every minute. A lovely couple that really took care of our little man.
Deb and her partner were brilliant at looking after our cockapoo Basil for the day. They had him for the day while we attended a wedding nearby. They sent us lots of photos and video updates throughout the day which was lovely. Basil can be a bit anxious but he happily trotted off with them when we dropped him off and seemed very happy when we picked him up. Thank you very much!
Lovely people, happy dog.
All comms with Deb and Craig were very good, our dog was clearly very happy, safe and comfortable in their home. We were sent numerous photos and videos of her during the weekend we were away and we would happily use them again!!! Thank you so much D&C x
