I am a Certified Veterinary Technician with 8+ years in Emergency and can guarantee the care your pet will receive will make you feel at ease. I can administer medications and travel to your home if needed to care for your pet after surgery. My services are built on honesty, integrity, and compassion – and an unceasing desire to meet your pet's every need and surpass your every expectation. I have a nice one bedroom apartment home in which you will be guaranteed to only have your pet here during their stay. I live very close to Campbell trail and will drive to Almaden Quicksilver trails for a nice leisure hike. We have very large grassy areas for play and relaxation. Your pet is welcome to "live" here as they live at home. Some pet sitting qualities I have would have to be that I am comfortable with dogs of all breeds and their behaviors. Throughout my career as a vet tech, I have come to learn how to recognize any emergencies, illnesses and act accordingly. I am aware of the needs of all animals and act of kindness comes easy for me. I understand the stress for a pet being in an environment other than their familiar one, so that is why I offer to pet sit only one pet at a time, unless they are from the same family of course. So I would say my experience, my awareness and love make me a great pet sitter :) Why I love dog sitting I have been a Veterinary Technician since 2003, and have a passion for Emergency Medicine. I am very compassionate when it comes to caring for pets. I am a Certified Veterinary Technician, and recently graduated college and became a registered respiratory therapist. Meet my pets I have a very large grassy area for dogs to run and explore. I live very close to walking trails and dog parks in which we can visit. My daughter and I love to hike so exercise for you pet is not a concern. I have a one bedroom apartment with a young daughter. Very tidy so no loose toys laying around. I do have a 5 gallon fish tank. I rece fly graduated college and am back at work a few days a week. My work days are 10 hours. About my yard The apartment complex offers a large grassy area in multiple spots in the complex. It is a very lush place to explore. It is not fenced in so your pet will be on a leash during quick potty times, but will offer off leash play too, in the early mornings, if they are good off leash. My experience administering medication I am capable of administering oral medications, injectable medications, subcutaneous medications, topical medications, etc.

Dawn took great care of Cujo while watching him so we could get out of town - her and her family teated Cujo like he was theirs. Iggy, her cat, was very friendly towards him and they had no problems together.
Dawn watched my puppy while I was out of town for the night. She was very accommodating and flexible in terms of drop-off and pickup times, and sent me regular updates about my pup. Her home is great and had lots of space for my dog to run around outside, which I'm sure he loved! It was so nice to know he was in good hands for the night. I would absolutely have Dawn watch my dog again, and would highly recommend her services to anyone!
Dawn has been working with our family now for 3 years. She is wonderful! I would not trust my animals with anyone else. My dog Sky looses his mind with excitement when Dawn shows up to see him. I have 2 cats and 1 dog. They are all super seniors now and require lots of meds and injections daily. Dawn is very capable in helping with these treatments because of her vet and emergency background. She always keeps a close eye on my little guys and informers me of any changes in there behavior. I love all the updates I get and pictures she sends when she's with them. I would recommend her to anyone. We love Dawn and our pets do to. She's un replaceable.

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I will do potty walks in the morning, afternoon and evening, and again before bed. For long walks I can take them either to a dog park or along a trail either hiking or walking, usually Campbell or Almaden Quicksilver trails. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your pet can sleep wherever they would like. Time I'll spend with your dog I am in school full time, with one year left. My second year consists of two clinical rotations which are usually a wednesday/Thursday 630a-7p, otherwise I am home by early afternoon. I will be home studying and caring for your little furry baby and my little angel. Time I'll spend with your dog We can further discuss your pets needs for time spent with them each day as each pet is different :) Extra house-sitting services I will water plants, take out trash, bring in your mail, etc.
