Pet care experience
Since I was a little girl I knew I had a stronger connection with animals than most people. I started working with animals as a volunteer at the Animal Humane Society when I was only 15 yrs old. My passion led me to work as a veterinary technician for over 15 different doctors in two different 24/7 emergency veterinary hospitals during my college years. I ended up managing the team, before graduating and starting medical school. My love for animals will never be enough, I truly believe they deserve the very BEST care and someone who is passionate about the job (good and bad), patience, loving and understanding. Not all animals are easy to understand at first but they all deserve to be deeply loved. As far as schedule goes, I really try to be super flexible. However I am currently finishing my MD degree so it may be hard sometimes to reply right away, please bare with me. That just means I am doing rounds in the hospital or studying for an exam but I promise I will get back to you ASAP. I hope I get to meet more furry friends along the way, they truly make me happier than everything on this planet. Hugs to everyone and peace!

We had some schedule changes and needed someone on short notice and Daphne stepped in and helped us out. The cats were happy and healthy when we got home and Daphne sent us lots of pics so we knew they were well taken care of.
Rover Card was very informative for every drop-in. Daphne has been nice and professional throughout. Awesome job!
Daphne was great with my cat, Storm. Storm took to her immediately and was comfortable around her. Daphne sent me plenty of detailed videos of her visit. Would definitely recommend and hire her again!
Daphne did an amazing job dropping in daily to check in on my two cats. She sent videos and pictures each day, which were fun to see. It was obvious that she cared about them, especially when it seems like maybe my automatic feeder wasn’t dispensing enough food. Daphne checked in with me and supplemented the food when it seemed like the cats were still hungry. She also took the time to play with the cats. I could tell that they loved her. Would definitely hire her again.

While I dont have any breed preferences, I understand not all dogs are easy going and this is something I need to know before I get to spend time alone with them. All their perks, all their issues, should be mentioned to me. I promised I wont walk away, if anything I will provide more protection and caring. I, myself have a sweet babyboy who is very hard to understand and once was prescribed anti depressants. He only got better with tons of love and compassion and I believe every animal can too with only a bit of understanding.
A typical day
I am all about what the animal wants to do. Although most animals work great with set schedules and environments, I really like to connect with THEIR needs. I love to take them on walks, runs, play in the park, play inside, just about anything. My job is to make THEM happy and feed their needs while their parents are away.
