Pet care experience
I have been taking care of animals since I was 5 years old, and have regularly done pet sitting for friends and family for the past 15 years. Before the pandemic, I was a volunteer Animal Care Provider at the Kansas City Zoo, where I worked with sea lions, birds, reptiles, and small mammals. Additionally, I’ve started an apprenticeship under More Dog Than Human to refine my dog training skills, and look forward to starting my own program to help people better understand their favorite tail waggers.

I have a large home with a gated and fenced in yard, as well as a climate controlled, air purified room, complete with calming music and round the clock video monitoring designated for their kennels. While they will have plenty of one-on-one loves and snuggles, I do ask that your dog has familiarity with utilizing a kennel prior to their stay.

A typical day
I take daily walks through the neighborhood, which has great sidewalks through a hilly community that definitely uses up that dog energy. I also love to get them out in the yard for play time, socialization, and training scenario’s.

Availability
Pet sitting is now my full-time job, so I can assure there is plenty of potty, play, and enrichment time. All dogs will receive a minimum of 4 potty breaks daily, and often more than that. My hours for pick up and drop off are 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday. Sunday hours are 9am to 1pm. I take daily walks through the neighborhood, which has great sidewalks through a hilly community that definitely uses up that dog energy. I also love to get them out in the yard for play time, socialization, and training scenario’s.
