Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for dogs since my family first got one when I was 6. My family has had many rescue dogs over the years, and we currently have two rescues, so I am very adept at dealing with shy shelter dogs. I’ve also had to take care of our dog who had epilepsy. Additionally, I have a small dog of my own who I raised and trained by myself, so I am very good at potty training and keeping dogs on a schedule. I walk all 3 of these dogs myself at the same time, so I can handle anything! Note: all 3 dogs will not always be at the house, just my Cavapoo. I have never met a dog I didn’t like, so I promise you that your dog will be in an environment filled with love, joy, happiness, and fun. I believe that a positive environment is essential to a dog having a comfortable and pleasant boarding/sitting situation, especially if they are in a strange environment, and I do my best to make any dog I take in feel as calm and as loved as possible. I promise your pet will be in a stress-free environment and be treated as another member of the family (and will almost definitely be spoiled rotten!).

Information Danielle M. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if the dog has any behavioral issues, such as shyness, so that I know exactly how to act around them. I would also need to know if the dog gets along with other dogs — especially small dogs — as that would be required if the dog were to come to my home. Lastly, I would want to know about any potential problem behaviors, like chewing or going to the bathroom in the house, so I know what to look out for. Additionally, I would need to be aware of any dietary needs/restrictions and allergies. I have no breed preferences, as long as they are friendly with people and other dogs.
A typical day
We can go on walks around the block, where we will be walking past the bay and little inlets that lead out to the bay. If your dog is comfortable with it, we can take a short ride to the beach (depending on the time of day) to take a walk there. I live on the water, and we are always outside playing and running around. Our dogs absolutely love being down here, as being located right on the water, they are surrounded by interesting and scintillating wildlife that they love to chase and try to interact with — all within a very sizeable fenced in yard.
