Park Trips Daily & Free Grooming!
Pet care experience
Growing up in Michigan, my family had a variety of animals (goats, horses, sheep, geese, dogs, cats). Almost without fail, we had a dog in the house and I was happy to help with the training and day-to-day care. When we finally had the space, my wife and I were eager to get a pup of our own, and were ecstatic to bring Ada home last year. Ada is an energetic and curious 1 year-old. This means we are at Cat Rock Park a lot, playing fetch, learning to swim, and for general obedience training. With your fur-ball in our care, s/he is sure to receive a lot of loving care, play-time, and park time. We will provide the proper amount of mental and physical exercise for pups of all energy levels, especially those high energy dogs that never seem to tire out. When under our roof, your dog will have full access to our apartment. We keep our place tidy to help Ada stay out of trouble. Our second bedroom is used as a dog room and can be used to keep dogs separate at meal times if needed. Our backyard is unfenced, but we always accompany dogs in the backyard and will leash puppo-visitors for potty breaks. I work nearby, so in the event that we host your dog during the week, I can easily go home for a mid-day check-in and potty break. Please contact me for overnight boarding, check-ins or walks. For check-ins and walks, I am available all day on Saturdays and Sundays and early morning (before 7AM) or afternoon (after 5PM) Monday through Friday.
Reviews
Daniel is amazing with dogs. Especially high energy dogs! Thank you for running Estee tired.
I wish I can give him 10 stars!! We were so comfortable leaving Max with him. He texted me regularly to update how Max was doing and sent me pictures of their adventures! Max hates water and never went in above his elbows, so I was shocked to see a picture of Max swimming in the water during their hike!! It was so great that Daniel taught Max a new thing, we couldn’t do before. Daniel truly loves dogs and cares about them. Thank you, Daniel and Ada!!
Daniel and his wife are very accommodating and take good care of my dog Ollie. I got the stay dates wrong once and they happily adjusted the extra night. I love that he sends me regular updates with pictures; gives me a piece of mind when I’m on vacation. Ollie has a great time with Ada and she comes home happy. I highly recommend him!
Working with Daniel was one of the most positive experiences I have had on rover.com. Daniel and his wife took excellent care of my dog, Tosha! It was clear she thoroughly enjoyed her stay with them. She went on long off-leash walks on trails, was well-exercised and loved, and she came back home to me happy and calm. I would love to book Daniel again for future stays with Tosha.

Information Daniel W. would like to know about your pet
I want to know the basics about your dog's routine and what commands s/he knows. Is there something new your dog just learned that you want me to continue to work on? Is there a command your dog is having trouble grasping that I should continue to encourage? Cat Rock Park is an off-leash park with trails, an open field for catch, and a swimming area. In order to better accommodate your fur-baby when on these trips, please let me know: 1) Does your dog need to be on a leash? 2) Does your dog take tick medication or wear a tick collar? 3) Does your dog swim? We do provide a complimentary, thorough tick check and baths for those especially adventureful visits to the park. :) There are no breed preferences for us and Ada is friendly with all dogs.
A typical day
I take Ada and dog-clients to the park (Cat Rock in Weston, Beaver Brook Reservation, Nipper Maher) at least once a day. On the weekends, we will spend a few hours there playing fetch and swimming if it's warm enough. Occasionally, we also bring Ada to restaurants or breweries with outdoor seating. Please let me know if your dog is well socialized and would like to go on such adventures, or if it's best to care for him/her at home.
