Pet care experience
I'm 46, responsible, but fun and young at heart. I walk my own high energy dog 30+ miles per week plus at least one dog park visit. Dogs need exercise and stimulus. When they have it they behave, snuggle, and are complete. I know what it means in a person's (and dog's) life to have a happy, tired dog! I have high availability, and flexibility, as well as patience, a long walking gait (when it's needed) and a dominant, but compassionate demeanor with dogs. I have raised my own dog from a non-housebroken puppy to a happy active girl. I treat everyone's dog like my own. I am not small in stature, so I can handle larger dogs others might not want to take on, but I'm also happy to sit or walk your smaller dog as well!
Reviews
Daniel is our go-to! Our pup loves hanging out with him, couldn’t recommend any higher.
Daniel is our go-to dog sitter/walker on Rover. He’s highly communicative, excellent with Griffey, and sends lots of pictures. 10/10!
Took great photos! Kitty looked like she was having a great time. Very reliable, as usual!
It is always such a pleasure to have Daniel as our sitter for vacations. He takes really good care of Ruby, he takes her on daily walks/outings to the park. He sends us daily updates of what they did during the day and Ruby always loves to come back. 100% recommend Daniel to anyone

I have a crate if required, or you're welcome to provide your own. I can also take my pup with me when I'm gone if I have any concerns about leaving our pups alone. She also has her own room aboard and I can separate pets while I'm gone that way as well.

Information Daniel S. would like to know about your pet
***I am dating someone who is allergic to shedding breeds, so at this time, I'm only accepting hypoallergenic dogs.*** I have a 5-year-old 60lb female Airedale terrier. She's very playful and sweet and gets along with 99.99% of dogs. We'd have to do a meet/greet before your dog's first stay in my home to make sure they'll get along for the duration of your dog's stay.
A typical day
I live on the water aboard my 40' boat. I have a dock that is gated at the end. Dogs can run free and play supervised without the worry of them running off. There's a park right next door with water access and parks all along the water nearby so if your dog loves the water, this is the place for them to stay. If you're concerned about your dog maneuvering around the water we can discuss limits and how they behave in a water/dock environment. My dog used to have a fully fenced yard and tons of room to roam. She was happy, but I can honestly say this life seems to suit her even better. Lots of activity here with boats going by all day and plenty of decks to layout on and watch the world go by. My dog gets 2-3 long walks per day plus at least 2 play sessions on the dock with one of her toys or in the water playing fetch. It is a small space for a dog like her, but a fun/active one!

Availability
I'm self-employed. When I'm gone, it's usually for only around 3-4 hours at a time. My schedule is flexible, and I can work within just about any dog's routine.
