Since I was born I've had dogs and cats in my household. My life functions upon my relationship with animals. I am currently the owner of a very well trained and smart puppy, and I pride myself on being a great dog dad to her! I have researched and taken courses on dog training to become the best owner possible. I hope to share my love, attention, and knowledge with your pets! I am a recent college graduate, so this job is my priority! I am struggling to find a job I can do on my own schedule due to some physical injuries, but being a pet sitter/walker is perfect for me! My puppy rarely spends an hour without me. I have raised her to be respectful and extremely social. She goes everywhere with me to cultivate her social skills and flexibility. She goes to the dog park or on a few hikes every day. She is a social and well mannered addition to the dog park, and is just as comfortable in stores or around new people. She loves practicing tricks, especially running agility courses! I have a lot of experience watching other peoples pets. My rule is to treat each home and animal with as much respect as I would expect from someone watching my dog. I know I would only accept the best care for my dog, so I aim to have the same level of care for all pets. I practice only positive reinforcement. as I firmly believe that it is the most effective. I've always been a natural when it comes to meeting animals. Lots of cats and dogs that are said to not be friendly end up laying on my lap. I am a recent college graduate. My full time job is currently taking care of my 5.5 month old puppy Rosie. She is a high energy dog so I have a lot of experience exercising dogs with a high need for exercise. She is very social, submissive, and friendly. However, she has learned to not try and play with dogs that are not interested in playing, or to play very gently with senior dogs or puppies that are newly socializing. She is also experiencing an ear infection, so I administer medication on a daily basis. I have also taken care of several senior dogs and am well versed in administering their medications and tailoring to their needs. I have a large grassy backyard with lots of room to run and many things to sniff. Any areas that are undesirable for a dog to enter are well fenced off. My dogs have always loved playing back here. They also enjoy sunbathing on the deck.
