Pet care experience
My husband and I are avid dog lovers and are experienced dog owners. We are interested in sharing that love with other beloved family members who need a little extra TLC while their family is away. We currently have a 2 year old Mini Australian Shepherd. We go on long outdoor hikes 3-4x a week as a pack consistently, regardless of weather. We are diligent trainers, and will go to great lengths to ensure our dogs are happy members of the pack. We believe that dogs are their happiest when they are positively challenged and positively rewarded for their hard work. We do this by providing them with jobs and tasks to complete. It has been our experience that dogs who struggle with anxiety, it's best to mitigate their anxiety through the provision of daily expectations of work, exercise, and play. Therefore, (upon request) in addition to sitting we will provide basic obedience training for your loved one.

Dana and Seth were great sitters for our energetic puppy. They sent plenty of pics throughout the day which provided great reassurance that our girl was having fun and being cared for well. We could also tell they were experienced, taking care to introduce their own dog to ours slowly and deliberately. Would definitely use them again without hesitation!
Dana is a great communicator and shared plenty of photos of my dog throughout the day. So nice my dog could play with hers in a fenced in yard. Great day care experience and will be booking again without hesitation.
Dana was great. It was our first time leaving our pup with a sitter and she made it a easy & stress free process for us. Very flexible when we needed to add a night & with drop off/pick up times. Kept us updated daily with pictures which was great & even treated him to a puppycure!! Thank you Dana, will defo use again.

Please let me know if your furbaby has special needs. With addition of new baby we have been extra selective of the pups we bring into the house, because toddlers bring frantic energy to pups around them, and we wouldn't want to put your furbaby in any uncomfortable situations. Their comfort and security is top priority for us. Period.
A typical day
Typical day (sept-june) involes 5AM wake up/walk and exercise. Followed by breakfast and rest and relaxation until 3PM when we'll hike as a pack. Summer time is a tad different schedule with more flexible hours, but still have at least 2+ hours of mental and physical training.

Availability
In addition to working with dogs, I'm a full-time teacher. During the school year I am up early working out alongside Helo, who needs mental and physical training before a day of R&R, your pup will love the morning routine with us. (mom and dad might be a different story 😉) after work (approx 3PM ) we'll usually go for a hike to get that afternoon stretch.
