Dog Expert, Coach, Trainer

Pet care experience

Hi. I would love to help you and your dog while you are on vacation. I will provide the ultimate doggie spay/camp experience for your dog. I can provide dog walks every day and healthy home-cooked dog meals and I can even do basic training at your home for you. If your dog pulls on a walk, I will train them not to pull. If your dog jumps up on you or others, I will train your dog not to jump. In a completely 100% positive way. I'm a part-time dog trainer at a local pet store, so I can handle all the common problems. I charge more than the average dog sitter, but the services I provide go over and beyond what a normal part-time dog sitter/walker will do. About me: I have 2 dogs that are like my children. I live in the Medical Center Area. I pet sit because I love dogs not because I need the money. I only work part-time a couple nights a week as a dog trainer so I'm usually available. I look forward to taking care of your fur babies. I can come let your dogs out during the middle of the day or take them for a walk. Or let them out in the evening if you have to work late. I have cared for a sick dog that needed medications and special diet. Why I love dog sitting: I had my first dog as a child. But my first dog that I truly loved as a family member was with my dog Norman when I was 21. I had him for 12 years. I saved his life from liver disease when he was 10. The Vet said he would only live a month and through my care and dedication he lived another 2 years. I wrote a book about it that has saved many other dogs. I have had as many as 4 dogs at once. I currently have 2 dogs that I rescued. They are 2 and 13 years old.

Cyndi is fantastic with dogs! She is such a dog lover. She has a gift of being able to communicate with dogs which makes her a great asset. She is also the author of a book about how she saved her dog from liver disease. She dedicated 2 years to taking care of and saving her dog's life. Her book has helped thousands of other dog owners save their own dogs. I highly recommend her as a dog sitter because she will take care of your dog like it is her own.

Information Cyndi S. would like to know about your pet

I like to know what the dog likes and what makes them happy. I prefer small and medium dogs but I have no breed preferences. If you are dropping your dog's off to stay with me - your dog must be friendly to other dogs.

A typical day

DOG TRAINING WHILE YOU ARE ON VACATION: I'll train your dog to walk nice on a loose leash (no pulling). I'll teach your dog to sit politely for petting instead of jumping and begging. I'll teach your dog to sit and wait at the door before going out for a walk. I can provide healthy home-cooked meals or healthy "toppers" to your dogs' current diet.
