Whittier Fur-babies Welcomed!
Pet care experience
****Hablamos Español**** Welcome to your fur-babies home away from home! My husband, Sergio and I, know how stressful it can be to leave your babies for an extended amount of time. We worry that they don't have anyone to play with and snuggle. Well worry no longer! When your fur-babies stay here they will enjoy running around and playing with our dogs, being cuddled and babied. The house is completely gated and secure with ample playing area. Your fur-babies will also have access to a doggy door. Our dogs love play buddies, are socialized, up to date on shots and flea treatments. We take hiking trips, walk around the park and play ball; or if your doggy prefers, we can lounge around in the backyard swing. We'd love for your babies to come and join us for the day, an overnight or even an extended vacation! Follow the pups we get the honor of watching on our Instagram page. cristina_dogsitter ****Please read my full profile. There are frequently asked questions at the end that may answer any questions you may have. If something isn't answered or clear, feel free to ask. I look forward to babysitting your fur-babies!!**** If you prefer that I babysit/house sit in your own home, that is not a problem. Please provide the dates ahead of time so I may coordinate with my husbands schedule. If you have a cat, please let me know as I am allergic & would like to be prepared! Please alert me to any special needs before booking. If your baby prefers to be separated from my dogs, I can accommodate that as we have baby gates that can provide for that. The ideal is that all the pups interact well together but I understand some pups may not or may have special needs. When submitting inquiries please specify the services needed as well as your preferable drop off & pick up times as we plan our days around that information. Since Sunday's are very busy for our family, pup drop off/pick up may have to be after 8:30pm. We DO NOT offer daycare on Sunday’s. **Please make sure your babies are up to date on shots, deworming & flea treatment. If your pup brings parasites or fleas into our home it puts ALL pups in jeopardy so there will be a minimum $50 fee for cleaning, disinfecting & treating the pups. This fee does not include the groomer fee or exterminator fee; both should be paid at time of pickup.** Things to bring for your pup to have a pleasant stay: -Collar with name tag & leash (no retractable of Flexi leashes as they are dangerous) -Food & food bowl -Crate (if used to sleeping in one) or bedding -An article of clothing/blanket with your scent (if your dog gets anxious when left) -No need to bring toys, my dogs share theirs! If you do choose to bring toys please be advised that they may not survive so many pups... :) Rest assured your fur-baby will be loved on, played with & cuddled! Frequently asked questions: 1. How many hours does daycare cover? Daycare is up to 10 hours. 2. How many hours does boarding cover? Boarding is for a 24 hour period, which starts at the time they’re dropped off. For example, you drop your fur-baby off at 10am; please pickup next morning at or before 10am. If your pup needs to stay beyond 24hrs there will be a daycare charge that needs to be paid at time of pickup. 3. What is the earliest drop off & latest pickup time? The earliest drop off is preferably no earlier than 7am & latest pickup is preferably by 9pm. 4. Are Meet & Greets required? ***Sorry but due to Covid, we will not be having any meet & greets in our home. Please look through our photos; our home & yard can be seen there*** Meet & Greets are not required but are preferable to ensure pups get along. Also, to get to know & feel comfortable with who will be taking care of your fur-baby. However, we understand that there may be a need for a last minute reservation. 5. Where do Meet & Greets take place? ***Sorry but due to Covid, we will not be having any meet & greets in our home. Please look through our photos; our home & yard can be seen there. If a meet & greet is necessary, it will only be at the dog park.*** So that pups meet in neutral territory; Meet & Greets take place at the Whittier Dog Park: 12206 Philadelphia St, Whittier, CA 90601. This is to ensure that all pups get along & are friendly. 6. Are gratuities included? Gratuities are not included or required but very much appreciated if you think we have done a great job of caring for your baby!!
Reviews
Very good! Cristina really attentive to Coco. Lots of videos. I used her again.
Cristina was great with our two Frenchies. They are challenging, for sure and she was absolutely great with them. Lots of update pics and videos. Felt totally at ease with her caring for our little crazies. Will definitely book again.
This was the first time being away from my 4 month old puppy! Cristina took great care of her! My puppy was scared and timid at first but overcame that quick with the care of Cristina. She always made it a safe space for my puppy to interact with the other dogs. She always kept me updated and had great communication with me. Overall it was a great experience and i would use her again.
Excellent care and communication!

Our home is completely masonry fenced in so your pup can’t dig or jump out. We have security cameras, baby gates & safety tags that we put on the pups in our care. We have never lost a pup! We also are constantly cleaning/sanitizing; we use lots of green products to maintain a healthy home. We don’t use pesticides on our grass; we periodically wash down our lawn with dawn dish soap & also sprinkle food grade diatomaceous earth to dry out anything with an exoskeleton. For all pups safety, including our own, we require all pups be fully vaccinated, dewormed & on flea prevention.

Availability
I’m a full time dogsitter/trainer so I’m home for the majority of the day. I’m involved in ministry at church on Wednesday & Thursday evenings. Sundays I’m in and out most of the day so I make sure to separate pups when I leave as well as check on them through our cameras.
