Pet care experience
I have spent most of my adult life working in animal care. We have three dogs of our own, two of which are foster failures. We have fostered many dogs and ours all played a very important role in helping new fosters come out of their shell. I work from home and I feel very fortunate to be at home with my dogs every day. I love providing a loving place for people's dogs to stay while they are at work or out of town.
Reviews
Courtnie is great. Animals loved her. Communication was great. Would recommend and will definitely use again.
Courtnie was a fantastic sitter for my pup! She clearly has a great deal of experience with dogs and welcomed her like one of her own. She shared lots of photos and checked in regularly. I look forward to booking with her again!
Courtnie did a great job with our senior, special needs pup. She was on time, sent lots of pictures, and made us feel comfortable leaving him for the evening.
Courtnie is so detailed and so loving to our pup! Fantastic updates throughout the weekend we were gone and we would absolutely hire her again! Thank you Courtnie, Aria is so grateful!

I have a fenced in yard for our dogs to have a safe place to run around outside. My dogs all have a lot of practice meeting new dogs. I studied animal behavior quite a bit while working at a shelter so I will pay attention to any signs that your dog is uncomfortable around my dogs and allow them to have their own space where they can relax if needed. Two out of three of my dogs are crate trained for when I leave home. My dogs do however sleep in bed with me or on the couch downstairs at night. Your dog is also welcome to sleep where they choose given they wouldn't get themselves into trouble and you are okay with it. I am happy to kennel your dog as you would when they’re home with you. Whether that’s when you leave the house, at night or both. I want to stick to their routine if that is helpful to them and/or important to you. My dogs eat every day around 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM. We have had many fosters in the past so medications, specific diets, or anything of that nature are easily accommodated and I will treat your dog as if they are my own. If I am checking on your pets in your home I will always respect your space/privacy and I would love to make sure I'm sticking to your routine as closely as possible to make the visit as enjoyable/comfortable as possible for your pet.

If your dog needs medications, how they tell you they need to go potty, if they have an behavioral issues (anxiety, stranger danger, issues with men, etc).
A typical day
Mental stimulation is very important to me when it comes to the overall well being of a dog. I enjoy hiding treats around the yard for my dogs, using puzzle feeders, and freezing peanut butter and treats into kongs. I also enjoy adding other types of dog safe food in with their kibble. We have plenty of toys around the house as well as comfy beds for dogs to lay on and feel safe.

Availability
I work from home Monday through Friday 7am-3pm! Our backyard is fenced in and on nice days I love sitting on our deck outside with the dogs while I work. Being home during the day enables me to provide your dogs constant company while in my home, or blocking time on my calendar to check on your pets in your home.
