Pet care experience
Hello! My husband Sean and I have cared for pets on Rover since 2012, from puppies through senior dogs, as well as cats. We would love the opportunity to host your dog in our home, where we have capacity for 3 boarding guests. We also provide drop-in services for cats & dogs in the Falls Church area Fridays-Mondays (limited availability Tues-Thurs). At least one of us works from home each day, and our kids (ages 9 and 5) adore our doggy guests. Our two pugs recently crossed the rainbow bridge, and we have no pets at this time. We have one floor living (minimal stairs) and lots of space to roam. When your pet is with us, they'll enjoy a cozy environment, lots of attention, cuddles, and exercise. They will be part of our family.

We have used Colleen and Sean for walking and boarding our Aussiedoodle for the past several months. They are very responsive and our dog loves them. Could only say good things about them and how they take care of our dog. Would highly recommend them.

Safety is our #1 priority. We always leash dogs outside. Our home has double door entryways at the front and the back, including a fully enclosed front porch, which allows for safer entry and exit.

We'd like to know the following about your dog: - Do they have any special needs or preferences we should be aware of? (medication, mobility, bathroom habits, allergies) - Are they up to date on vaccinations and flea/tick/heartworm preventatives? - Do they have a history of marking their territory indoors? - Do they experience separation anxiety? - How often would you like to receive photo updates during their stay? (Default is once daily, and we are happy to provide more frequent updates).
A typical day
We live in Falls Church City and often take our guests to the W&OD trail and parks nearby. Guests are welcome to sleep where they prefer -- our bed, their bed, crate, couch, or the floor! Most of the day, your pet will spend minimal time alone. We may leave them for 2-3 hours to run errands on occasion.
