Giving back the love that animals give us
Pet care experience
I have been around and looked after dogs, of all different kinds of breeds, for as long as I can remember. All members of my family are great dog lovers, and I grew up with mostly larger dog breeds, such as retrievers and St. Bernard’s but we also had a couple of poodles and terriers. I have always enjoyed helping and looking after my families, friends, or neighbour’s dogs. My fiancée and I also looked after other people’s dogs on "Borrow my doggy" for about 1.5 years before we finally decided to get our own dog. We always knew that we wanted a large dog breed but also had to make sure that we could provide a good home for our new family member. After finally being able to purchase our first house with a large garden and getting a bigger car, we welcomed Ruby, our Bernese Mountain dog, to our home two years ago. She is the loveliest gentle giant you will ever meet, and we couldn't imagine our lives without her. However, Ruby sadly has hip dysplasia on both sides from birth, which has meant a lot of physio and hydrotherapy sessions, as well as medications and extra care. We understand the challenges that can come with looking after an animal with health issues and will try our best to accommodate and support wherever we can. I work from home full time. At the moment, I am in the middle of setting up my own business, which leaves my time flexible, and I am happy to work around your, or your dogs needs. I have a large garden, which is fully and securely fenced on all sides. My 2 year old Bernese Mountain dog Ruby will also be more than happy to keep your furry friend company, have a play or chase around the garden, or have a cheeky cuddle with. I have yet to come across a dog that Ruby doesn’t get on with, but I am also more than happy to keep the dogs separate if you would prefer so.
Reviews
Lola loves her days at Christine’s! Thank You for taking such amazing care of her
Feeling very disappointed with the lack of response and communication from Christine. She has consistently ignored my messages and walk requests. I assume this is due to one failed dog walk due to a work emergency. Session was paid for in full. I would have preferred to be informed that she was unable to continue to walk Rolo as he really enjoyed his walks with her. I feel the service following this as been very unprofessional. Regards
The best couple we could have ever wished for to take care of our dog Ralph. Genuinely phenomenal dog sitters for our nervous rescue who just adores being with them and their dog. Christine is a gem
Christine and her partner Tom have been amazing in looking after our sheepadoodle Ralph. In a period where we really needed them they have always been so helpful and we’re very thankful to have found them. As is Ralph.

Information Christine V. would like to know about your pet
Do let me know if your dog has any special requirements, needs or if there is anything you would like me to look out for. I will try to do my best to accommodate where possible and want to ensure that your doggie feels as comfortable and looked after as can be. I would also love to know what your dog’s favourite toy or game is, so I can ensure that your furry friend is entertained and has a good time at mine.
A typical day
On a typical day I like taking the dogs for a walk at either Oxshott Commons, Epsom Commons, Nonsuch Park or our local Churchfields Recreation ground. Sometimes I also like to drive to Richmond or Bushy Park to switch things up a bit and to keep it interesting for the dogs. I always make sure to bring plenty of water and treats for everybody. At home, we have plenty of different toys and games to play with, chase and run around the garden and if your dog is anything like mine, there will be lots of cuddles to be had throughout the day. My dog Ruby also enjoys a good post-walk nap, and we have lots of space and at the ready dog beds, where one can chill out.
