Pet care experience
Bachelor in Psychology with emphasis on animal psychology. Decades of dog and cat experience of all personalities and backgrounds. Able to read dog behavior well and respond accordingly to best serve individual dogs and owners. Personal goal is to emphasize dog well-being while working to cultivate and/or reinforce positive behavior among dogs and help owners to understand how to contiune a positive and rewarding relationship and environment with their animals. Thus, both people and dogs better thrive and enjoy their relationship. Every dog is great and talented, you just need to find out how to bring it out them. I’m easy going and patient and am confident working with dogs experiencing social and behavioral issues. I have a very flexible schedule and work from home so I can make sure the dog is never alone.
Reviews
Christine is extremely passionate about all animals! She has had an immediate connection with my dogs and my friend’s dogs. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to take my dogs out while I work. With my permission, she has even brought my pooches to dog beach for an hour of fun. I highly recommend Christine.

Information Christine S. would like to know about your pet
No breed preferences. Basic personality information is helpful as I want to make sure I am not putting them in potentially uncomfortable situations and any behavior an owner would like me work on is also helpful. Correcting behavior can be time consuming, but with proper training and patience is so rewarding when the dog gets there.
A typical day
I enjoy walks in Tecolote Canyon, Fiesta Island, Balboa Park and Cabrillo National Park. For some dogs, working on behavior and leash and obedience training can even be done in my neighbored, which does have a large grassy park we usually stop at, at the end of the walk as a reward, both for the dog and I!
