I boarded my senior terrier with Cheryl for a week. Although her profile states that her home is non-smoking, that simply is not true. When I dropped my pup off, the house smelled heavily of cigar smoke, and my dog immediately started sneezing. When I picked her up a week later, the house again smelled heavily of smoke. I had seen that another reviewer had complained about this and anticipated that it would’ve been corrected. I believe people should be able to do whatever they want in their homes, but they should be honest about it. Cheryl also took the liberty of adding coconut oil to my pets food. I actually add coconut oil to her wet food, but I would have preferred that she asked first in the event of any allergies. Dottie came home smelling of cigarettes and with some sort of coconut spray on her coat. The whole experience just left me questioning Cheryl’s judgment. These things might not bother everyone, but it just didn’t work for me.

My puppy Manman stayed at Cheryl’s when we had a sudden health emergency pop up. She responded promptly and was able to take him in short notice. She communicated well during his stay and sent us videos and pictures and my energetic pup was well taken care of! Will book again! Thank you!
