Doggy Vacation & Grooming
Pet care experience
For Sitting: It's my joy to give your pet lots of love, attention, and care consistent with your training regimen while you are away. I've been a dog lover since I was a small child. My first dog was a Miniature Schnauzer, Fritzie, he is the best dog that has ever lived. I've helped raise and train 3 Rottweilers, fostered a Dane/Pit/Lab with behavioral issues for over 6+ months, and seek to befriend every dog I meet. :) I also help train friends (and their dogs) when they have issues. We have a 'step-dog' son, Tucker, that is with my husband and I most of the time. He's an old, adorable, and mellow Shiba Inu. We also adopted two sweet little dogs (former Rover clients) in February of 2020: Audit and Baxter. ------ For Grooming: I several years of experience grooming my own dogs, but began grooming professionally in the spring of 2021. I am comfortable grooming dogs of all sizes, hair-types, and ages. As a groomer, I believe that grooming is more than a bath and haircut. It is a critical aspect of your dog's life; a quality grooming experience has the potential to improve their socialization, emotional stability, and confidence. I take seriously the opportunity to monitor your dog's health for tooth decay, ear infections, inflammation or skin irritations, and fleas or ticks. Through grooming, I am able to build a special bond with your dog, but don't worry, you won't be too jealous because part of the job is expressing their anal glands. It's all worth it because they emerge happy, clean, and cute. Feel free to message me about pricing or any other questions. I encourage dog-sitting clients to add on grooming service while your dog is in our care.
Reviews
Chelsie and Spencer are the best. I always know Lulu is being well-cared for and getting lots of love.
Rosie still looks great, 2 weeks out!
Chelsie’s the best! She is a great groomer and makes what can be a stressful experience for our pup as enjoyable as possible. He gets very anxious and upset in grooming facilities, but is much more comfortable with her!
Our dog loves Chelsie!

I've administered insulin shots, oral medication, chemotherapy pills, and topical meds several times. Our yard is fully fenced and doggy safe. Your dog will rest comfortably indoors, but will receive plenty of attention and exercise.

Information Chelsie F. would like to know about your pet
Any special needs (medication, diet, injuries) or restrictions (doesn't do well with kids/other dogs, afraid of storms, etc). I'd also like to know their chewing, exercise, play, and sleeping habits. ***Please let me know about any aggressive tendencies up front. This will help me know what level of interaction with other dogs and/or children is appropriate.
A typical day
As aforementioned, there are walking/running paths nearby. Working from home I take my dog on walks during breaks and after work. Your dog's sleeping arrangement will be inside either in a crate or on a doggie bed. We'll spend as much time as possible with your pup. Weekdays I office at home and weekends I like to be outside or entertaining on the patio. I intend to bring your dog along when I go to the coffee shop or run errands.

Availability
During the weekdays I have a flexible working arrangement and can provide a relaxed environment for your dog to rest beside me in my home office. We go on 1-2 walks daily. On the weekends I like to garden, host friends (and their pups) for dinner or bonfires, and take walks around Greenlake. Spencer and I would be happy to keep your pet active while you are away or vacationing.
