Your WEST LA dog walker/sitter!
Pet care experience
I'm Chelsea -- an experienced dog walker with a deep love and knowledge of dogs. I would love to meet you and your dog/cat to see if we're a match! I have years of experience working with dogs that require focus and structure while walking. I can provide a mentally stimulating walk for reactive dogs and active breeds (German Shepherds, Border Collies, Heelers). I am comfortable with most dogs large and small, especially my beloved pitties! My first experience caring for dogs: I had two very special, goofy, fun-loving pups in my life. One required daily administered insulin shots and blood sugar tests. The other required a custom hypoallergenic diet. I've seen first-hand how much daily routines and gut health can matter. Please let me know the schedule and quirks of your dog so we can ensure a seamless experience for your pup. Personally, I am a full-time assistant producer from home. I am an actor and comedic improvisor. I am hugely passionate about animals and prefer to spend my extra time with dogs simply because I enjoy spending time around them. Let me know how I can help you and your dog! Hope to hear from you, Chelsea
Reviews
I have used Chelsea a few times and she is loving, playful, posts pictures daily and I always have a happy pup on my return. I have a large dog and she handles walking her well, even though she can act up at times. When you come home don’t be surprised if your pet falls in love with her!!!
Chelsea is fantastic with dogs and has a history of caring for both small dogs and large dogs with special needs. She not only arrives on time but also snaps photos of your dog and forwards them to you so that you can see just how much your pup is enjoying his or her time out on the town. Chelsea is great at making sure the dogs she cares for are comfortable, safe, and happy. She's the best!
I'm pretty sure that Chelsea loves dogs more than life itself. Not only does she stop to pet and say hi to every dog we walk by outside, but she'll jump at any chance to dog sit as well. As a lover of dogs all shapes and sizes, Chelsea has the energy, tenderness, and mentality to keep any dog as happy as can be for however long they need. Whatever the feeding, walking, or potty training guidelines are, Chelsea keeps a strong responsibility in mind when caring for dogs, and would be a great dog caregiver to any dog owner.

We live on the ground floor and have had many dogs stay with us for the day, overnight and for the week. We have a large front lawn with grass for frequent potty breaks and a lovely, active, dog-friendly neighborhood for walks!

Information Chelsea G. would like to know about your pet
When first working with a dog, I'd like to know a few things: 1. How's your dog with new people? Do they like a proper introduction? 2. How do other dogs effect your dog's temperament? What about kids? 3. Does your dog have any unique quirks or preferences I should be aware of? 4. Does your dog have any special medical needs? 5. How does your dog respond to being on leash? 6. What specific routines or boundaries should be aware of? 7. Is there a bite history I should be informed of? 8. What is your dog's favorite reward? (Special treats, ball, squeaker, etc.)
A typical day
Pets that stay in my home, for the day or overnight, are treated like family. West LA is a very active, accessible area! During your pet's stay, I can provide a long walk where there will be lots to smell and see. I am also an enthusiast of enrichment activities, especially for those breeds that need a little more mental stimulation like German shepherds, border collies, heelers, etc.
