Pet care experience
To say, I have a mad love affair with dogs is the start of an award-winning poem I've only ever imagined. Dogs will always be puppies no different than my 25-year-old nephews who remain my babies. I trained my cairn/tibetan cross off-leash, paraded hallways with her doing pet-therapy, traveled across oceans with her, explored raw diets with her, and taught myself holistic alternatives to relieving canine discomforts like itchy skin, poor appetite, UTI, kennel cough, anxiety, liver issues No matter my expertise, your dog is your dog. If you say no table scraps, your dog gets none. If puppy needs to eat at 4, they're eating then. And, if the dawg is ever uncomfortable, you'll know ASAP and you'll advise our next steps.

This past Christmas break was my first experience with Rover and Charmaine. It was easy, simple and I never had a worry knowing Westley was being well cared for if I could give 10 stars I would. Charmaine is lovely and was a pleasure to communicate with and have in my home to look after Westley. I will definitely book Charmaine anytime I can when we are away.
Due to weather we were unable to board our dog, but throughout the process Charmaine was a great communicator and very flexible. Her dog is very nice and the property she has is great for dogs ! We will definitely use her next time.
It's Christmas Eve and a serious snow storm is whirling about producing white-out conditions and power failures. Your garage catches fire. In the process you lose your car and electricity for untold days. Would you be willing to look after someone else's pet the next day - Christmas Day!? Would you call this situation a "hiccup"? Charmaine lived this just the day before she notified me Christmas Day that there was a "hiccup". I was headed to Ottawa from Montreal and could not bring Moka, our poodle, with us - we could not possibly find a replacement sitter under short notice - we would have to cancel our vacation. So, we show up at her place, Charmaine greets Moka and I cheerfully and with a smile. Charmaine has just experienced what I can only imagine is one of her worst nightmares come to life and she is apologizing about the situation. Charmaine, you are my hero. You went above and beyond under the most trying of circumstances and I greatly appreciated the courage and resolve it must have taken to go through with the booking. Charmaine took great care of Moka, who was with her in a new and safe environment - Charmaine showed resilience and modified her routines to make the situation work. Moka was walked, played with and pictures of a satisfied and tired pooch were sent to us. If there is a "Rover Outstanding Sitter Award", then Charmaine should be top of the list - she deserves it! I highly recommend this amazing resilient and resolute individual and I wish her a safe and successful 2023
We cannot thank Charmaine enough for looking after our wee Dexter! We had not long moved to Montreal and Dexter's time with Charmaine was his first time away from us since making the big move! Charmaine and Eric made Dexter feel safe and right at home in their lovely home by giving him lots of cuddles, walkies and playing with the ball! We received updates and pictures daily while we were away, which put us at ease knowing he was being loved and well-looked after while on his own holiday! We are very grateful to have found such loving hearts to help! Thank you Charmaine & Eric!

They are loved indoors and out. Their paws are wiped, bellies are fed, ears are rubbed, eyes are cleaned. They are walked and chased in our yard, at dog runs. And, finally, to lessen the separation anxiety and increase the fun quotient on this vacation (they may not yet be aware of!), I'd love you to bring -your dog's favorite bed or blanket they call home, - food & water bowls, - a paw cloth for those muddy hikes, - favorite 'you deserve this" treat, and of course, - their food & meds

Information Charmaine C. would like to know about your pet
I love dogs. All of them. And, I'd love you to share this about your furry friend: how often do you take them out? what time do they like to eat? Are they food-possessive around other dogs? Do they poo before lunch or after?! Do they get table scraps? Are they on a raw-diet that needs to be frozen? If so, we may need you to provide a cooler for the food depending on number of boarding days Do they anxiety-bark if left alone? Do they have fleas, allergies, coughs, or any health issue that may or may not be contagious to other dogs? Are they toy-possessive? Has your dog been in a fight with another dog? If so, a meet and greet would be necessary Thanks. Can hardly wait to host your puppy - young or old, anxious or hyper.

Availability
I work from home, most often. Walking & caring for K9s is absolutely a part of my routine. I'm very much into holistic doggie care, agility & behavior training. I clip toe nails, bathe doggies, groom them, able to train them on basic commands.
