Let’s Make Dog-Matic Experiences!😄
Pet care experience
I love all dogs and despite their age, I always call them puppies 😉 I’ve taken care of my own dog growing up and currently with my dog, so for ~14 years. That includes walking, feeding, grooming, playing, picking up poop, cleaning after accidents during care, taking medication, and training. My dog has separation anxiety so I very much understand how to help. I will definitely take pictures and track our walks so that you are updated on the care of your fur babies! Weather doesn’t bother me. I will take your dog out for walks in rain, snow, heat, etc., but will always make sure they are ok.
Reviews
Chantelle is fantastic!!! Luna is always so happy and not stressed when I come home from work. She clearly takes very good care of my anxious girl.
Chantelle has been so great with our dog! She was willing to do a meet and greet which helped acquaint our pup with her before their first walk. She is so thorough and gives our pup lots of love. Highly recommend!
Chantelle had watched my puppy during a Thanksgiving weekend. During that time, Chantelle was great in helping to potty train my dog and making sure all of my dog’s needs were met. She is very caring and will stop and help in a moments notice for you and your pet. She is someone who should be sought after as a dog sitter!
Chantelle is very loving and trustworthy person. She takes her time with each client (animal) very seriously by researching out what works best for each breed and/or confirming what the owner needs are before starting the pet care. She has something about her that animals know is a genuine and unconditional love.

Safety, trust & environment
I do have a fenced yard with additional safety measures (using bungee cords), to prevent my dog from escaping. So safety is very important to me. I am happy to follow any routines/regimens such as crate training, set eating times, grooming, handling phobias, or nightly routines. I understand accidents (vomit, urinating, or having bowel movements) inside can occur. I’m happy to clean/tidy it up if they occur during bookings. I am CPR/First-Aid certified, but with the human population. I am really patient and like to not come across as threatening so I take the time to get to know dogs on their level. I’m not afraid of big dogs as I have a Great Pyrenees, and really dislike the stigma behind big dogs and certain breeds.
Information Chantelle S. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs or accommodations. I am happy to prepare any dietary needs ahead of time. I would love to know if there are any specific behaviors/things that may trigger or agitate your dog. If your dog has dealt with any trauma, definitely let me know. Are there any physical limitations (hearing loss, reduced mobility, etc.,)? Does your dog live in a home with other pets?
A typical day
I would love to give your dog love and attention through play with preferred toys, walks around the neighborhood or at a nearby park. I am happy to work on teaching new skills, although I am not licensed as a dog trainer, I do have professional experience and am licensed as a registered behavior technician with kids. Therefore, I am very familiar with the psychological approaches of schedules of reinforcements. This will allow your dog the mental stimulation it needs. I’m happy to also set up play dates with my own dog in playing in my fenced backyard.
