Hey there, my name is Celia. I am currently a pet sitter, an ISU graduate, and a behavioral therapist. I have experience with a large variety of animals including dogs, cats, horses, chickens, rats, guinea pigs, lizards and etc. I started volunteering at the Animal Rescue League when I was 13. I completed all of the training courses for cats, dogs, and farm animals. During my time as a volunteer, I adopted out the animals, bathed the animals, cleaned their areas, exercised them, and gave them much-needed attention. I did that for about four years and then moved on to pet sitting for individual people! I have been pet sitting for 6 years now. I also did horseback riding for years and volunteered in the barns. As you can imagine, from reading this, I also have many pets of my own! I am available many hours of the day! Do not be afraid to reach out with any questions. Celia is amazing! She goes above and beyond for our dog Griffie and gives him lots of love and attention while we’re gone. She’s reliable and keeps me in the loop with pictures and updates. We are so grateful knowing he's well cared for, and Griffie absolutely loves her!

A typical day
I love spending quality time with pets. Whether that means just being there with them or interacting a lot. I have sat with pets who were not in need of much interaction and just like someone being in the room with them. I have also sat pets that needed constant hands on interaction. I enjoy getting some fresh air and sunshine as I believe it is much better than being inside all day. Fenced in yards are my favorite for dogs. Pull out a blanket and relax in the sun is the best! I have sat a large variety of animals who all needed different forms of interaction.
