Pet care experience
David and I have had dogs our whole life. We don’t currently have any, but love having dogs, so this is our way of still having fun! We will always be on the go with your dog, giving it plenty of activity. We love going to the farmer’s market, down to local lakes, and to patio bars! For the last couple of years we’ve been watching our friends’ dogs, both large and small, and love having them! We have flexible work schedules during the week, and are home bodies during the weekends when we’re not out exploring Austin! During your stay with us, your pup will be taken out multiple times a day and will spend his/her evenings exploring the city and meeting all our downtown friends! We can’t wait to meet you and your dog! We promise they’ll feel right at home with us!

Catherine and David were so amazing with Sadie, especially given how much of a basket case she's been since we moved to Austin. They took her everywhere with them, wore her out, and made sure she was comfortable. I never worried once while I was gone, and I worry a lot. We will definitely use them again! Our girl got lots of love from these two. Couldn't find better energy from a couple if I tried.
Catherine F. has been a dear friend of mine for over 11 years. I witnessed the absolute love and care she gave her personal dog, Honey, until Honey passed away. Honey was in such great shape since Catherine took her on long walks and hikes around Austin. The vet even reported up to the last year Honey was with us that she was as healthy as a 6 year old dog! Honey loved to be outdoors and Catherine made sure Honey was happy and outdoors as much as possible. The death of Honey was really hard on her, and I'm happy she is finally opening her heart again to be a dog or dog walker with Rover! I think its a great step for when she's ready to have another dog of her own. She is a perfect candidate for this job. She will treat any dog she walks or dog sits with so much care and love. You are lucky to have such a great Dog Mom wanting to help out Rover!

A typical day

We currently work during the week so we like to keep the stays to the weekend so we can spend as much time with your pup. We are willing to make exceptions though.
