Pet care experience
My husband and I got our first dog, Rory, a year ago and can’t imagine life without her! We have both taken care of dogs for years. I have done dog sitting for friends and family in the past and we frequently dog sit for our neighbors as well. My husband works for Blue Buffalo (pet food) so we are extra pet-friendly :)
Reviews
Before Rover was even a thing, Cait cared for our dog Madison whenever we were away. Madison was our first dog, so we didn't trust her with just anyone. We wanted to make sure she got the same love, attention, and care that she would get at home with us. Cait always treated Madison as part of her own family. Rest assured that your fur child will be in great hands with Cait.

We live in a waterfront condo complex in the Shippan neighborhood of Stamford. We love living here because it provides for so many great areas to walk our dog (and yours!) We take walks along the marinas, the beaches, and go to the park all the time. Our dog, Rory, is a rescue and is a medium sized beagle mix. She is super friendly, very energetic and always ready to play with other dogs! She is also typically submissive and happy to allow the other dogs to run the show.

Information Cait C. would like to know about your pet
No breed preferences as long as they are friendly! How does your dog interact with other dogs? Do they get possessive over toys or food? Are they leash aggressive at all? Are they good or bad off leash?
A typical day
Our main daily walk is a nice long loop around the point of the Stamford Beer Garden area which takes you along a boardwalk and a waterside pathway. We frequently take Rory to a field (or beach in winter) nearby to throw the ball and let her run. She is very good off leash, but we would be happy to keep your dog on leash if that is better for them! On weekends we go for hikes on some of the nature trails in the area. We are not a huge fan of dog parks so we would not feel comfortable taking any dogs there.

I was laid off during the pandemic so I am home full time and my husband is also working from home full-time given current circumstances. I am open to having a set schedule or flexible schedules.
