Trustworthy and loving pet owner
Pet care experience
For almost four years I've been helping take care of my roommate's sweet but mischievous German Shepherd. I grew up with cats and smaller dogs in my family (Dachshunds, Boston Terriers), and have taken care of many other dogs and cats for neighbors. I've been doing pet care professionally on Rover for two years now, and I'm loving it. I get to make all sorts of animal friends and learn new ways to communicate with, befriend, and care for them.
Reviews
Thank you for your special help!
Bryce went the extra mile! He gave extra care and attention to our dog while we were away and made sure she was comfortable. Bryce’s experience with animals is evident and with his knowledge, Bryce was also able to give our dog some training while he spent time with her. He is punctual, provides great updates, and is a 5 star sitter/friend to all animals!
Bryce did a great job with our 2 cats and 2 dogs. He kept in regular contact and the house was in good condition when we returned after a week away. When our flight home was delayed by 6+ hours he offered to extend his help with the dogs' dinner schedule. We'd recommend him to friends and family.
Thank you Byrce for the great communication and carefully written, detailed cards! I know Arti can’t wait until her time with you next time.

Safety, trust & environment
I have experience keeping dogs safe and in-line on walks, be it a good awareness of sharp bushes and discarded food, the ability to sternly give command words or walk them at your preferred pace (i.e. casual, or "focus on tiring them out, minimal sniffing"), and the skill to tell when other dogs are unfriendly, or, if your pup doesn't like someone or wants to chase something. I'm respectful of house rules and boundaries, and make sure to give your pet the level of attention they ask for (As much as I want to play with and pet every pet, I understand some just want to nap in peace, usually cats).
Information Bryce R. would like to know about your pet
Does your dog like to say hi to other dogs when out on a walk, and are they behaved when doing so? Do they freak out and pull when they see a cat or squirrel? Do they prefer casual relaxed walks, or a jog, and which would you prefer they have :)
A typical day
I'm new to the area so me and your dog will get to explore together. I love the excitement dogs feel when they get to find new smells and stare at squirrels. Of course, I'll do my best to prevent your dog from developing bad habits.

Availability
I would like to continue working full time as a pet care provider. I have plenty of free time to take care of your pet(s)! I have digital social commitments Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 4pm-9pm, which can be done on my laptop. I wish they weren't hot time slots, but other than that I focus on pet care full time, and learning in my extra free time.
