all dogs deserve love!
Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Brandon, and I'm glad to meet you! I was raised around dogs, and have come to love them as family. Working with dogs specifically has always been an interest and now with Rover, it has become a passion! I take pride in my work, and I take care of my dogs. I'm excited to offer the same care to you and the companions you care about. I have experience with large and small breeds, elderly animals and animals with special needs. My primary experience is with dogs, but I am comfortable hosting cats as well. I am flexible, prompt, thorough, polite and will arrive for our appointment with professional tact. I am excited to meet your dogs and make some new friends!
Reviews
Hello, everyone! My name is Liz, and I have lived, worked, and raised two animals alongside Brandon, my partner, for almost four years now. I'm going to tell you why I know you can trust Brandon with your animal. When we first met, we only had my small black cat, Beany, to care for. I am a lifelong cat caretaker, and, as such, Beany was going to come with me no matter who I lived with or where I went. Brandon understood that, even though he'd never really been around cats before he met Beany. I knew he had a soft spot for cats, though, and Beany was only ever curious about Brandon. Today, Beany and Brandon have such a deep relationship that Beany lets Brandon hold her in ways that I am not even allowed to. :P Before we adopted our Jack Russell terrier, Pop Tart (yes, her name really is Pop Tart), Brandon often gushed to me about the dogs he helped raise, how much he loved and cared for them, and how much they taught him empathy and compassion. Taking care of dogs at such a young age also cemented in Brandon's mind how important a safe, caring environment is, for any furry life companion. I knew Brandon was going to be ready to adopt a dog more quickly than I was, as I had only ever cared for cats, so I wasn't sure what to do when Brandon adopted Pop Tart shortly after we moved in together. Thankfully, when I asked Brandon to step in and teach me how to care for Pop Tart, he took on the role of dog-care mentor for me. He took the role seriously, and, quite frankly, Brandon taught me how to care for dogs, and also how to love dogs--something I had never done before. To conclude, I believe that people's true selves are revealed when caring for another living being that needs help, but can't communicate that need with humans. I have seen Brandon's true self, and his empathy, compassion, calm demeanor, playfulness, carefulness, and curiosity make him an ideal caretaker for both dogs and cats.

Information Brandon P. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know what it is that makes them relax, what kinds of activities they enjoy, and whether there is anything I can do to make their stay at my home feel more like their home.
A typical day
I live in a great part of Fitchburg, and though my complex is unfenced, it has a fenced dog-park on site, and great paths for walking off the pavement.
