Pet care experience
I've lived in Gahanna for 16 years with my husband and children. I work part-time as a substitute teacher, scheduling my own hours as desired. I've always been blessed to have a dog in my life. These have included several shelter dogs, a Yorkie, a Maltese, a Dachshund, and two Bichon Frises. I adore dogs and truly believe in their transformative and healing power in our lives. I know how hard it can be to find loving and reliable in-home care for these furry family members. I'll love and care for your pets as my own. I pet-sit small dogs (under 25 lbs.) in the Gahanna, New Albany, and Westerville areas.
Reviews
Bonnie is always the best.
Bonnie was so caring to our dog, Murphy. We felt very comfortable leaving him with her. She sent updates and very communicative. We’re so grateful to have found Bonnie as a pet sitter for our pup!
Bonnie and family took wonderful care of my 18 month old maltipoo Peaches. I am a new dog owner and was uncertain about leaving her with anyone. After our “meet and greet” I went home feeling confident and sure of her care. While away the continuous updates with pictures and notes was a welcome addition to my day. When I returned to pick Peaches up she was happy and obviously well cared for by Bonnie. I will not hesitate to have Peaches cared for by Bonnie and her family in the future. Thank you Bonnie for allowing me to spend time away with my family without worry. Your care and service were priceless.
Bonnie did a nice job watching my Yorkie while we took a weekend trip to Canada to see the Niagara Falls.

I have a fenced yard and two very friendly and playful Bishon Frises that love to have visitors come to our home. (They honestly believe everyone comes to visit them!) I do not board larger dogs because my Bichon Frises (10 and 18 lbs.) would stress over their presence.

Information Bonnie G. would like to know about your pet
I'd like to know your dog's daily schedule, habits, personality as well as well as any fears or idiosyncrasies. We usually cover these topics during an initial introduction meeting.
A typical day
We live on Gahanna's Cherry Bottom trail and love to take the dogs on daily walks to explore the area and get some sunshine and exercise. We'll also play tuggy, and catch, and have plenty of cuddle time.

Availability
Our guest dogs are never left alone. I am home most days and my husband works from home, so someone will be present at all times to cuddle with and care for your dog. I do not crate guest dogs during the daytime hours and I only crate them at night if I am instructed to do so by the owner.
