Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Beth and with the exception of the past few years I’ve taken care of animals for my whole life. I grew up with Newfoundland dogs and cats, and had at least two cats for most of my adult life. Unfortunately my current partner is very allergic to cats, and our apartment it too small for me to keep a dog but I like to get my animal fill by watching my friend’s pets while they’re out of town.
Reviews
5 🌟 for Beth! Fantastic as always with our pets (she’s our regular pet sitter!) and such a wonderful guest to our home
Beth was so attentive with my cat and provided really detailed updates. I was so relieved to leave her in such good care.
Beth ‘s phenomenal! She was an excellent caretaker and highly communicative cat sitter. Getting to know her was a genuine pleasure! Beth truly put in so much time and energy to making sure my cat was well taken care of while I was gone! Very grateful to her. Wish I could put over five stars!
Beth did a great job caring for my fur babies. I received updates daily and photos of my fur babies. Beth went above and beyond, will most definitely rebook with her.

Safety, trust & environment
I will follow your instructions on how to care for your pet, send plenty of photos and videos if you’d like, give them all the love and cuddles they’re comfortable with. If they’re more shy I am just content with sitting in their presence until they get used to me. I noted above that I may have my teenage son with me on some weekends and I just want to clearly state that only I will be involved in the care, feeding, and medication administration of your pet, the only services he offers are head pats and scritches, and those are obviously free of charge ;) He is a very kind and respectful kid who enjoys animals of all kinds, but has a particular fondness for cats and dogs. I also carry and maintain my own house and pet sitting insurance on top of The Rover Guarantee. Policy number and coverage information is available upon request.
Information Beth P. would like to know about your pet
Things that are important to me to know about your pet is: Are they on any medications? Are they shy? Do they have separation anxiety? Are they reactive/fearful of other people/dogs/cats? Do they have any allergies/intolerances? and the two most import questions: Where is their most favorite spot for pets? And who's a good boy/girl? (They answer is always "They are!") But really, please let me know any important info that will help my stay be the happiest and healthiest situation for your loved one!
A typical day
A typical day will include me loving on your pet if they like it, playing, really whatever you need, since each pet is unique, and the needs vary from pet to pet.

Availability
I work construction full time from 5am-3:30pm (including most commute times) but am up very early (usually between 3:30and 4am) so I am able to fully give your furry family member any morning meds/feedings/bathroom breaks/attention before I leave for the day. I am also a rather light sleeper so I am aware of any bathroom breaks your pet may need during the night. When I return, I am sure to spend that time caring for and loving on/ playing with your pet. It makes me so happy to come back to a friendly face excited to play! I may have the occasional craft fair/makers market on the weekend or I may be scheduled to have my teenage son with me but will be sure to discuss that with you before booking. If you have any questions about my availability, please don't hesitate to reach out!
