Pet care experience
I have over 20 years of experience in providing top tier pet care. I am passionate about creating connections with furry, scaly, and feathery friends. As an active duty Coast Guard member of 12 years and counting, I bring discipline and responsibility along with my deep love for animals at every pet-sitting opportunity. I am a BIG advocate for the well-being of pets since their health and happiness in our lives provide us with so much joy. I love taking dogs on walks, hikes, strolls or just spend low-key time with them. Keeping them involved in everyday activities they are used to with their owners while they are away is key! Showering every pet I care for with love and affection is a priority, ensuring they feel secure and cherished even when their owners are away makes me happier than ever! In addition to these, I possess the skills to administer insulin injections for diabetic animals and I am well acquainted with caring for elderly pets. I offer basic grooming services such as baths and brushing and claw trimming for free during bookings. In essence, my pet care philosophy revolves around showering all animals with abundant love and attention while maintaining the cleanliness of the home and the safety and security of the home while the owners are away.

Beka is the absolute best! She was so wonderful to both my dogs- a rambunctious and snuggly pit boxer mix about three years old with knee injuries and a much older than black lab. My older dog is very particular about people as he had a rougher start in life, and he warmed to her so easily. She was equally loving to them both! She even took care of my daughter’s nine fish and sent her personal updates about her fish tank. They had regular pictures, videos and walks , and my dogs were always so happy to see her. I felt so very comfortable with her in our home with our fur babies! We are very sorry to lose her and hope she finds many other dogs to take care of and love on!
Our dearest Beka has been absolutely amazing. She has been dog sitting for us for over three years consistently. I have referred her to several friends with pets because we trust her with our loved ones and our home. We have never had a single issue and she keeps the home the way we left it. Beka was always so accommodating during a very stressful time in my life when I had to leave town to care for my father who sadly passed away in 2021. I could not have been available to my father without her and I was not able to take our beautiful lab with me. Jay loves hearing Beka's name when we mention she is coming. He enjoys his walks (sometimes even several times a day) with her as well as her snuggles. She sends pictures of our pup everyday and gives updates so we know he is safe and loved. We absolutely hate that she is moving soon and will be missed by our family so very much! Highly recommend, she is fabulous! Ps. I do enjoy leaving her goodies (not required by any means)...she enjoys charcuterie boards and an occasional glass of wine 😘
Rebecca is a dog a cat whisperer. Pets are naturally drawn to her and new pets connect quickly. They love to see her come a sit with them. She is reliable and professional. She is the best.
Beka has taken care of many of our furry family members for several years and is our go-to pet setter. She truly loves and cares for our pets just as we do. We are always completely at easy when we travel knowing that Beka is taking care of the gang.

Do the pets have any ailments that I need to tend to or be aware of so I can tailor the walks or timeframes for potty breaks. Do I need to keep them away from other dogs while on a walk if required? I have experience with anti-social animals and how to work with them while out and encountering other animals or people.
A typical day
Playing catch, or tug-a-war with those energetic pups. Giving any of the animals relaxing brushing or pets/ear scratches/massages while relaxing together. I love exercise so long walks for those who are able and enjoying the fresh air together is always on the to-do list. Lounging and watching TV together. Cuddling, if the animal prefers, is high on my list!

Availability
I am a reliable and flexible pet sitter. I am available for all pets, day and night, that is why I keep my service radius reasonable in order to provide the most attentive care should multiple jobs arise. I have just recently switched from Active Duty Coast Guard to Coast Guard Reserve stationed in San Deigo so I am available any time of day for you!
