Pet care experience
My personal experience is 20 years worth. My professional experience is 4.5 years! I have cared for xxl dogs, xxs dogs, cats, fish, ferrets, bearded dragons,& parrots, and pet chickens! I personally have 4 pet rats, 2 dogs, and a cat named Kevin that was on the ramp of 295 , and I almost didn't see him! Kevin the cat is also DEAF which now makes me pretty experienced with that. I'm a true animal lover, I've had horses growing up, goats & chickens. There's no animal I've ever discriminated against, and I also work hard to raise funds throughout the year for shelters and animal hospitals to help cover vet expenses for those in need. Which I proudly had a news article written about my efforts to save shelter animals (you can find photo of article in photo section). I personally own my own business in the pet care industry & was nominated for Best of The Best Pet Services for 2020 & 2022 I was a top 3 finalist!

Ashley is great with all kinds of breeds. She is patient and loving with all dogs and critters. She has house sat for my friends, and trained multiple dogs with basic commands, ranging from yorkies to great danes!

I follow the same routines that you have with your pets. It's important for routines to stay consistent for pets, especially dogs & even cats. Safety is always a priority, your dogs are never outside alone even with a fenced in yard, this helps ensure your dogs are safe from any possible outside predators and potential dangers. I am also feline & canine CPR certified through 2023! So my rates reflect my experience, but also the extra time I put into becoming qualified to render aide.

The most important things for me personally are: Has your dog ever bitten? And if so can you remember what happened right before the bite. Does your dog do well with people coming into the home or are they more comfortable meeting outside? Do they have a high prey drive towards other animals like cats, and squirrels? It's important to know that for walks!
A typical day
I'm not stranger to getting dogs to open up in the Summer and getting in the water, with parent approval of course! Whether it's a baby pool, water hose, or a full blown pool I think it's important to teach dogs to be comfortable in water. I also enjoy playing Frisbee and fetch games, and when we go on walks safety is key! I like to ensure their are no dogs allowed to be off leash while I'm walking.

It's my full time job, there's nothing else I'd rather do, seriously I spend all my time with animals! Being that pet care is my full time job I truly work hard at providing flexibility for clients.
