For as long as I can remember I’ve had an animal of some sort in my home. Dogs, cats, and fish were always a staple in the family. I’ve also had hamsters, ferrets, sugar gliders, turtles, and iguanas. Unfortunately, my spouse and I live in an apartment that doesn’t allow me to have my own dog or cat to look after. However, I do enjoy going to the lake in the the neighborhood and feeding the ducks everyday. I’m already a full-time senior caregiver, but I would be thrilled to look after a pet during my free time. I would love going on walks, going to dog parks, and teaching tricks (Yes, snacks are included.) I’m willing to open my home and heart to someone else’s pet, to look after as my own.
