I am ready to create new friendships. An entire life of experience. I have done years of rescuing & fostering from house pets to equine, along with owning them. I understand so well how stressful it can be leaving, not knowing if your animals are in good hands. I am here to ease your mind so you may enjoy yourself wherever you are. They will become part of our family and will be treated as family! We really are a second home to our repeat clients. All guests get a goody bag to take home as a souvenir! I live in a beautiful 2 story ranch style home, clean, safe, and full of love. I have a large grass fenced in yard & a fully secured arena sized yard to even more room to play as long as weather permits (Please see photos). I have 3 lovable, welcoming, friendly boy dogs of my own to keep your pets entertained. They love and look forward to company, and are respectful to all guest no matter their size. They are so helpful to make sure your pets stay is nothing but a good time.

Apryl was great and I can tell that Cooper thoroughly enjoyed his time with her. She will go above and beyond to make sure your pup is comfortable and I appreciated the photo/video updates. I would highly recommend!
Our first experience with Apryl was very professional. She arranged a meet and greet for our golden retriever, Darby, to meet her 3 large dogs to ensure all would play well together. During our absence, Apryl sent pictures twice a day and shared information on how our Darby was doing. We had recently put Darby on a new prescription that would need to be injected during our absence. Apryl was happy to administer it and commented on how it did not bother Darby. When we picked up Darby she was very happy and calm. We were assured by this behavior that she felt comfortable while in Apryl’s care. We will turn to Apryl again when needed and recommend you reach out to Apryl for your pet care.
Both dogs were so happy staying at Apryl’s. Her and her husband have a nice, calm home and lots of space for the dogs. I will definitely be using Apryl’s services in the future and I am so thankful to have found such a perfect place for my dogs to stay when we travel.

SAFETY IS MY #1: I have my front door entry way gated off to avoid any escapes out the door, if they try. All guests eat separately and are kenneled or gated separately when I step out of the house. I accept only dog friendly guests so everyone’s visit is fun. If issues are to arise, I do have gated areas in the home to separate. Although we do our best to make sure this is never the case.

REQUIRMENTS & EXPECTATIONS: *Dogs MUST be well mannered, true members of the family. Hosting your pets as guest in our home requires us not having to risk our family, other pets, or home. *Dogs MUST be spayed or neutered, with the exception of puppies 6 months of age or younger. *We require a meet and greet prior to accepting new dog clients. This gives us the opportunity to meet, dogs meet, see the inside of my home and backyard, to make sure we are good fit for everyone. *We expect owners to be honest and truthful about their pets and how they behave. NOT ACCEPTED: *Aggression of any sort *Dogs that are destructive *Adult dogs that are not house broken. This includes males who want to “mark”. *Flight risk, escape artists, fence jumpers (this includes the puppy gates inside the home) *Dogs that cannot read cues from other animals and relentlessly want to play/bother other guests. DROP OFF & PICK UP HOURS: 8am to 9pm. If you need to drop off or pick up outside of these times, another night will need to be added. Please be on time. I make arrangements in the house to be ready for your arrival. WHAT TO BRING: - Kennel (Kennel will only be used for bedtime & if I have to briefly step out) ***Although I do prefer dogs to be kenneled trained, it is not a requirement. As long as your family pets can behave in a gated off area in the home. If I have to step out, dogs are never left to roam freely in the home. They do need to be able to stay calm behind tall baby/doggy gates. - Food and schedule/measurements of feeding - a leash (for dropping off & picking up) - anything else they may prefer to have during a sleep over :) *CANCELLATION POLICY* I need notice this many days prior to their stay to avoid any cancellation amount. Boarding - 7 day notice Daycare - 1 day notice I understand that some cancellation reasons are unavoidable. Depending on the situation, that will determine if the cancellation policy comes into effect.
A typical day
A DAY IN MY HOME: I am a low volume sitter, only caring for a few guests at a time. Caring for our furry guests is something that my husband and I both take a part in as we have no kids. Our guests get plenty of attention, potty breaks, fresh water at all times, and outside play time. Guests are rarely left alone and if they are, it is so we may briefly step out. We are a fun, safe, but a calm home.

DOG BOARDING or DAYCARE: The dogs we welcome into our home MUST be good with other dogs and cats. While in my care, I try to replicate a home away from home and in return, I expect them to be well behaved guests. Un-behaved or aggressive dogs will be understandably turned away.
