Hello there, I'm Anne and have been pet-sitting for the past 15 years. I have as far as I remember always been fascinated with all sorts. of animals. Originally from South America, I have first been in contact with exotic animals. I started later to work as a pet-sitter in Paris when I was 15 years old. As I got older, I also started volunteering for French charities like the Brigitte Bardot Foundation and when I was 20, started working against the illegal animal trade until my departure to England in 2016. I have rescued all my pets and filled my family and friends with all the animals they have today. I am lucky today to be working in a pet friendly office in Salisbury with my own dog from Monday to Friday 9 - 5pm, however I'm always happy to help where I can as I know not everyone has the opportunity to spend as much time with their pets or struggle when they have to go away. My partner is also based at home and has been working with me since COVID. I know and understand how hard it can be to trust someone else with your pet, and I will always treat yours as if it was mine, no matter what animal it is. My priority is to give all the attention and love that your pet needs, so they almost forget their owner has left. Finally, it would be my dream to find a job in the wildlife conservation area in a further future. Anne.

After our booked house sitter let us down, Anne stepped in literally at the last minute. And we are so glad she did. Lots of communication and photos showed us what an amazing time the doggies were having. We could not have asked for a better person to look after Dexter and Bella. Anne is very professional and came to meet us beforehand, Luna loved her and had a great time and all her needs were met and she was happy and tired when I got home. I felt confident leaving Luna with Anne as we spoke about her animal experiences etc. I will definitely be using Anne again 😊
Anne was so nice and friendly. Lilly had a lovely time and I was sent pictures to show how Lilly was. Would highly recommend to anyone.

My home has always been safe for kids and animals as I've always had pets and one of my dog is very small. We have a large enclosed garden and a lot of green areas around the house. I do prefer going to the pets' homes when possible as this way, I know the animal is less confused with a new home and strangers.

It is very important for me to know the animals personality and routine. I want them to be as comfortable as possible and almost forget that their owner has left so everything goes better for everyone. I will always ask quite a few questions during the first meeting that's only to make sure I'm aware of any need the pet has and also because I need to know if i could be a match with us and our own pets.
A typical day
Depending on the pet I will try adapt as much to their daily routine. Some dogs need more exercise than others, more attention than others, etc... I love going on long walks and playing with them. The general atmosphere is quite chilled and relaxed, the dogs are free to do almost everything they want.

Availability
I would mainly be available from 5pm during the week but my partner is at home all day. I work with my chihuahua and our staffy stays at home with him, they both go on at least 3 walks a day. Everything is organised around the pets at home as we have a few other small pets too. If I have to stay at someone's place to pet-sit, my partner takes over with our own pets but we do always work as a team.
