Loving family home
Pet care experience
We have a fun and caring household that includes me, my husband of 10 years, and our high school aged daughter. Our wire-haired dachshund JoJo (12 y.o) is a sweet, and very mellow tempered old gal. She loves to sun bathe and burrow in a blanket. She LOVES to kiss!! Tryp is a 6 year old mini long-haired doxie who stole our hearts. He does well with our guest dogs but he will make a loud production when he first meets you. It sometimes takes him a minute to settle in, but more often then not it's because he needs to sniff out the newcomer and then its all fine. He is soft like a chenille blanket and loves to be with a person, he will nose you until you hold him. He is our playful one- ready for a game of chase with all furry friends. We have a doggy door to access the fully reinforced fenced and locked back yard anytime. Upstairs rooms enjoy having guest dogs sleep with them and keep them warm. I also have fluffy dog beds and plenty of couch space for them to enjoy naps in the sun from our front windows. My whole family is dog lovers. We enjoy bringing in new friends for the dogs, and we would love to cuddle and play with your furry family member while you're away. We prefer small dogs. Clients who bring their smaller dogs to stay appreciate that there will not be larger dogs in my home- even though I love all dogs of all sizes, I respectfully cannot make any exceptions to this restriction.*** I also wish to indicate that we can only accept dogs OVER 2 years old.**** Your dog(s) must be up to date on shots and please make sure they have been treated for fleas 24 hrs before their stay or they are on a flea regimen. We can handle various personalities and needs and I have senior dog experience. Note: I have stairs in my home, and no carpeting in the main rooms. Please indicate if your dog will need help on stairs or need a mat to stand on while eating. ****COVID update**** I am not doing initial meetings inside my home. I can do a virtual tour of my house, and a meeting out front with your dog and mine. I no longer require a mask at meetings or drop off, and pick up. My entire family is vaccinated, but we respect the safety, choices, and privacy of others and their needs- so please let me know if you’d like for masks to be worn during these times. No questions will be asked, and we will oblige. For detailed instructions, please provide this on your pets profile. I must be texted/messaged from your car upon arrival to let me know you are here for meetings or bookings. Please let me know if you have any questions about this or concerns. *****No pick up or drop offs after 9pm: due to early and very busy mornings we ask that you pick up before 9pm or add a night and pick up anytime the next day between 8am- 9pm*****
Reviews
Anna always provides updates and takes amazing care of Enzo! We always know he is in great hands with her.
We had a really great with Anna taking care of our dog for us. Our pup is not used to spending time away from us and Anna took great care of him. She also send lots of photos and was a great experience overall for our dog to start building the confidence to spend some nights away from us.
Anna & Bob have been consistently brilliant in taking care of our chihuahua/italian greyhound mix Ingo when we’re away! Ingo is always super chill when we get him home, and both Anna and Bob are great with his picky eating habits (and the adorable photo updates that we live for). Our solo pup even gets on well with their two adorable four-legged family members, so it’s always a happy time for everyone.
Anna always takes such great care of our Wade and he always happy and exhausted when he comes home after a visit!

A typical day
I work from home and I go out on minor trips and errands. With 3 people in our home, there is plenty of attention to each wagging tail waiting for belly rubs or someone to throw a ball. My daughter bonds with each dog and spoils them by giving them all of her attention if they seek it. My husband is known to get attached and quickly becomes our guest dog's favorite person. I tend to be the pack leader who snuggles and plays, takes them for routine walks, and they know they can count on me for meals. They will usually follow me to see what I’m doing. :)
