My whole life revolves around animals so caring for your pet would be just an added bonus to my day! I currently work at a Veterinary Clinic part-time. I've worked at this hospital for 8+ years and have gained a lot of knowledge and skills during that time. I got started into dog sitting when clients would frequently ask me to watch their pets. and naturally, I agreed and now have become their dogs 2nd best friend :) I have a 4 bedroom home with a fenced yard, dog run, grass and plenty of room for romping around. I'm located near Mt. Diablo and Limeridge open space where there are some amazing trails I could take your dog (if they are into that sorta thing). If your dog is a couch potato no problem! We can just hang out and watch movies. I understand the variety of doggy lifestyles and am willing to cater to them however you see fit. You can feel confident I will care for your pet with professionalism and a huge loving heart! It's what I was born to do! Due to the nature of home boarding I can only accept well behaved pups. This means I do not accept dogs with severe separation anxiety, destructive behaviors, dog aggression towards other dogs or people etc. I understand that no dog is perfect and there are some unforeseen behaviors that may arise but generally they must be accustomed to being around people and other dogs. Also they must be ok being alone for short periods (I do not use kennels or cages unless requested when I step away from the home). When entering a new environment it's normal that some dogs exhibit a small degree of anxiety but overall we would prefer doggies with good manners that are used to going with the flow! On your average night here we have 1-2 dogs. During peak travel times and holidays, it may be up to 5. I never let big dogs and little dogs play together or have bones, toys, etc near each other.
