Work from Home- Love & Play all day

Pet care experience

Everyone has their moment in the limelight at one point in their lives and I guess you can say mine was when I was an answer on Jeopardy! I was the first female mascot at my college and I guess it was historic enough to be something Alex Trebek referenced on the hit game show. When I’m not making game show history, I’m a loving mom who works from home. They are the pride and joy of my life! I orbit around my husband Bob, my seven-year-old son Dean and our Logan. We had another furbaby in the brood, but our elderly dog Oliver passed away after battling kidney after bringing joy and amazing memories into our lives for nine years. We love all kinds of pups, young or old, the only thing that matters is that they love children and other animals. We’ve fostered dogs for local rescue groups in the past, and we have tons of experience with mutts, Mini Schnauzers, Golden Retrievers, and Rottweilers. I am a work from home dog mom, and I take Logan on three long walks a day in our neighborhood and he gets plenty of fenced-in yard playtime. We are an active family who loves to play, go for runs, and walk in Rock Creek Park. Our son Dean adores dogs more than anything else in this world, but he’s also a very intuitive child and knows when to give our dog space. He’s very respectful and curious without being aggressive or cruel––he’s a sensitive soul and your dog will come into a loving and happy family. We only take on one other dog at a time, so your beloved pup will be our very special guest. We believe that animals are an integral part of our larger ecosystems and we have to be open and kind to each other. I just wish our world could feel that same way––if we just loved each other unconditionally like every dog, then we’d have world peace. For me, family is the most important thing. It’s what gives us grounding energy and gives us purpose. Your pup will become an immediate part of our family and I will go out of my way to be the best dog mommy. I love quality time with those I love, so whether it’s time outdoors or in our home, your beloved pup will always be an important part of our daily rituals of cuddles, kisses, and fun!

Angie and her family continue to be our favorite people to leave our beloved pup Otis with when we go away. He is always happy and well taken care of and comes home tired :). Angie is communicative and easy to work with. On top of all of that, she’s just a really nice person! We are so lucky to have found her!

Our dog is a people-loving pup, and Angie lets him be part of her family, taking care of our boy as if he was her own dog. Great safety measures taken during COVID, and she treats our dog as we would.

Angie took great care of our Golden Retriever. He was a member of her family while we were away, and he really enjoyed and appreciated the care and attention.

Zeus had a great time with Angie and her family. We received loads of photos and updates about how he was settling and what he was up to, which we all enjoyed reading. I would highly recommend Angie to anyone who needs a home from home for their dog.

Information Angie A. would like to know about your pet

Our senior dog, who passed away earlier this year had several health issues, so we are adept at dealing with health problems, including dietary restrictions. My family will respect your dog’s needs on every level––from activity to how they’re fed to how they’re cared for. We as a family will respect your pup’s unique temperament and do our best to make sure s/he is safe, secure, and happy. We have been an active Rover family using the dog sitting services ourselves, so we want to pay it forward. We want to provide a loving home away from home while you have peace of mind. Our home is set up to for our dog Logan and he’s a very passive and fun-loving upu. We can’t wait to have you join our family, even if it’s for a day!

A typical day

Our neighborhood is called Brightwood. We live in a single-family detached home with a fenced-in yard for romping and playing. I love that it’s a quiet neighborhood with lots of other dogs and is next to Rock Creek Park so if s/he wants we can do a hike or play fetch in the verdant fields. Your beloved pup will get three long walks and lots of attention with lots of belly rubs, cuddles, and kisses. We’ll be sad to see your little one go, but we’ll know s/he will miss us and we’ll be happy to see the again.
