We care for dogs, birds, reptiles, rodents, fish, etc. We have no breed restrictions. Cats are welcome on the condition they are friendly and remain in a comfortable cage in which you provide. This is for the safety of your feline companion. Rodents, birds, reptiles and fish must also come with their own cage/tank. We only accept dogs who are: - Friendly with children and other dogs - No previous bite history - House broken - Posses basic manners (unless paying for training) - Free of disease and parasites. Sorry but we do not drive to your location for pet sitting nor do we provide pick up or drop off service. Where are we located? We are not far from the intersection of Price and S. San Mateo Dr. in North Port, FL. Why choose my service over any other? I offer more experience than most other pet sitters in the area. I have over 6 years experience in the vet field, 3 years experience in doggie daycare, and currently work part time as a certified dog trainer. I currently teach group classes at the Venice Dog Club, Bayside Pet Resort of Osprey and for the City of North Port. I also enjoy training and showing my own dogs in conformation and performance events in my spare time. I love being an at home mom to my 5 year old son and enjoy having a job that I can do from home. A handful of dog training clients began asking me if I would watch their pets and continue their training while they went on vacation. I quickly realized it was not only a great way to make a little extra income but it was self rewarding. My job as a dog trainer consists of only 2-6 hours each week leaving me plenty of time to care for your pets. Your dog will have free roam of our home where they're treated like family. Our yard is fully fenced allowing them to safely run and play outdoors. Clean toys and beds are provided. All you need to bring is their food and bowl. Your dog will only be crated for safety at night, during feedings and when I step out to run a quick errand. We have small, medium and large crates available for your use during their stay. However your welcome to bring your own. I also have a nanny cam for your peace of mind. Watch and even talk to your dog while they stay with us. My main clientele are dogs but we also take small caged animals like rodents, reptiles, birds & fish (usually beta and goldfish). We do not board cats unless they come in a suitable cage. Intact dogs are welcome here. **We have an additional $5.00 a night service fee for females in season. This is because it's more work to keep them exercised, happy, clean and of course abstinent​.
