Pet care experience
I grew up with all kinds of pets - dogs, cats, birds, turtles, hamsters, etc. I used to petsit very often when I lived in Saint Louis before through Rover/other connections and loved doing it, but then I moved overseas for two years. Now that I'm back, I'm really looking forward to taking care of pets again! I am super flexible, communicative, and excited about being with your pets. I don't have loads of special skills, but I'm very happy to learn them.

Anelise has watched our cat on a few occasions. She is so kind and responsible! I really felt like she was focused on caring well for our cat. It was clear she enjoyed her time with him and treated him with the care and attention we would ourselves. Our cat loved her and snuggled up with her regularly. I loved that Anelise sent us regular photos and updates to show us all was well with our kitty, without us asking. She was very communicative when we reached out, too. She also house sat for us on those occasions and was incredibly clean and responsible. I definitely would trust Anelise with any pet or house sitting needs in the future!
Anelise is a wonderful, caring person and pet sitter. She stayed at my house to take care of my dog for 12 days and it was great. My dog loves her. She is extremely dependable and trustworthy. I couldn’t recommend her services more!

Unfortunately, I am unable to board any pets due to having two cats in a small apartment. I play with my cats, spend time with them inside and outside, feed them, clean out their litter box, take them to the vet, cuddle with them. I haven't personally owned a dog as an adult, but did grow up with multiple big dogs (huskies and samoyeds) and have spent lots of time with dogs through friends and petsitting. I enjoy being around them and am very comfortable with them.

I'd like to know what kind of dog I'm taking care of, and whether training is involved. I'm happy to help with training/teaching tricks, but I'd need to be shown what that looks like.
A typical day
Play with whatever fun toys are available, play outside if there's a yard, go on walks around the neighborhood and explore together, give fun treats if available, snuggles on the couch
